Hi! I'm Ivan, from Uruguay, currently living and working in Australia with the Working Holiday Visa.
I have experience doing house and petsitting, I took care of some houses while traveling in Europe a few years ago, and here in Australia the last year as well.
I consider myself a calm, sociable, organized, respectful and reliable person.
Animal lover since I was a child, always had pets, and I was surrounded by animals. Mainly cats, first I had Azul, then Messi and Tobita. And I had dogs too, Kira (Shih Tzu) and Lola (No breed).
I love to travel, meet different places and people, share and exchange talks, cultures, moments, and live new experiences.
In this case, I would like to be able to live in and take care of the house of the person who wants and needs it, as well as the animals or pets that live in and share the house.
For me, as a traveller and far from my country, is really nice to share house and spend time with animals. Since when traveling I move constantly and it's difficult to feel the feeling of "home", animals give it to me in a certain way.
I would love to meet you, so we can talk and you can get to know me and be sure that the house and pets will be in good hands while you are away :)
Ivan kindly sat for us for a week at short notice and took care of our 12yr old Cocker Spaniel. Ivan was very good in his communication, easy to make arrangements with and took great care of our home and pets. It was all very low fuss and the house was spotless when we arrived home. I’d recommend Ivan highly.
Ivan was extremely responsive and pleasant to deal with, he left the house extremely clean and a very happy cat, would recommend!
Ivan looked after our rescue cat over the Easter break and he did a great job. He arranged to drive down to Sydney the night before so we could meet him and show him around, which I very much appreciated. He kept our place very tidy and even hung out some washing for us and most importantly he took great care of Morty. I would definitely recommend Ivan and have him sit for us again.
Ivan looked after my house and cat for 8 days . Before I left we had several discussions to confirm arrangements. During ,my absence Ivan let me know everything was OK and sent a video of my cat, which was very thoughtful. On my return home everything was tidy and clean and my cat looked well cared for. I am grateful to Ivan for putting my mind at ease during my holiday and can recommend him for future sits.

Ivan was so great to deal with, contacted us with concerns and questions but also left us to enjoy our holiday.
He left the house spotless and was just generally a great person to communicate with during our time away.

Ivan was fantastic and did a great job of looking after the apartment, our two cats, and our many houseplants!
We came home to a perfectly tidy apartment with two very happy cats, whose opinion is the really important one - they were very happy and relaxed with him and I'm sure they'd give 5 stars if they could! Ivan understood that they're our babies and looked after them very well.

Ivan looked after my cat, Ferret and my apartment for five days over Christmas.
Ivan was quick to respond to communication which also included lovely selfies with the cat. Ferret seemed to have a good time and I have no doubt she enjoyed Ivan's company.
Nothing was damaged in the property and I believe Ivan left the property in a better condition than I left it.
Overall, Ivan is a respectful house sitter and I will hire his services again.
