I am a single (divorced), late 50's, professional man. Having owned several houses myself I am fully conscious of the care and security required to maintain a house. I love pets and have owned dogs, cats and birds throughout my life and would be happy to care for yours. I am currently available for any period of house-sitting and can provide personal and professional references. I am a highly reliable, responsible and considerate person and would take excellent care of your property and pets. I also enjoy peace and quiet and enjoy my own company. I like gardening and can perform simple home maintenance jobs, if required. Non-smoker and non-drinker.

We feel very lucky to have met Nick and have him as our house sitter and companion for our dog Campa. We caught up a couple of times in the weeks leading up to the the sit to ensure everyone was happy (ie - the dog and Nick) and that he knew the routines. Nick was really caring and confident from the moment they met and Campa took to him straight away. Nick did a fantastic job looking after our house and 2 cats. On our return home, house was very clean and tidy - wouldn't know he'd been there. Our cats were well looked after - obviously not stressed as they hadn't lost any weight! To come home to a clean and tidy house is a dream at the end of a long day's travel. My cat and dog were so well cared for and Nick has won my dog Talulah's heart! Nick looked after my inner city house and 2 large dogs for 5 weeks. The dogs were both well looked after and were walked twice a day. He also sent regular messages to me while I was away with pictures of the dogs. I would recommend Nick as a house sitter.

We left Nick in charge of the care of our house, garden and cat Tigger, for a period of ten weeks. We met with him before engaging him and had no doubt from that time that we could have confidence in him. He has excellent communication and problem solving skills. The house was as clean as when left, the cat well looked after, sheets washed, lawns mown and garden tidy. We would have no hesitation re engaging if we ever go away again and would recommend him to others.

Nick won the cat over and took great care of him, our lovebirds and the garden, He also washed the sheets and towel that he used which we did not expect and kept the house and yard very tidy.
