We are a retired couple who have our own apartment and so, understand the value of your peace of mind, whilst you are away. We are non-smokers, fully vaccinated #6 for Covid-19, have excellent references and provide care during the day/evening for your pets. 2024 has confirmed our 51st house sit which have varied from 4 - 40+ days, for 36 dogs, 21 cats, 29 chickens, 2 worm farms and various fish. Our calendar has sits listed for 2024 already as we are often asked to return.
We take pride in caring for your pets with loving attention, walks, brushing, dog park, meals on time and medications. Treating your home with respect is very important as is cleanliness, privacy, mutual trust and home security.
We can keep you up to date with photos via email, WhatsApp or txt.
We would like to meetup or Zoom beforehand accompanied with your instructions or I'll email a checklist to make it easy.
Messages are checked daily. Thanks for considering us.
ps. The flowers were given to us as a thank-you from the next-door neighbour of one of our house sits. We shared the kindness and assisted with hospital transport.
Cheryl and Peter did a fabulous job minding Oscar and our home. Communication was excellent and they left our home in great shape. Definitely recommend them and would use them again if the opportunity arises
Cheryl and Peter are professional , organised, respectful and kind. I had some unexpected challenges and they were extremely understanding. They did not end up staying this time.
I would definitely invite them to sit again and recommend them wholeheartedly.
It was a big step for us heading away for 6weeks after a long time not travelling and also leaving our 18 month old puppy!
However we were delighted with the wonderful, thoughtful, consistent care provided by Cheryl and Peter.
Confidence was instilled from the get go with punctual first meeting and great care around clarifying what might be needed.
Communication was great with lovely updates re our dog and calm updates re our ( sometimes) all too interesting chooks.

Cheryl and Peter did a great job looking after our house and cat, Harry, whilst we were away. We received regular updates, including photos of Harry. The house was neat and tidy when we arrived home and the lawn had been mowed. A lovely couple who we would have back again.
We found Cheryl and Peter on AHS for our much loved rescue boy Ralph. They are two of the loveliest, kindest and caring people you will ever meet and loved and cared for our boy as if he were their own. Their communication with us beforehand, during our trip and after they left was first-class. When we first met them for an on-line meet and greet, we felt like we'd known them forever after chatting for a few minutes and when we met them face to face, it was just the same. Cheryl and Peter are dream housesitters. We met prior to going on a road trip and felt very comfortable leaving both the house and our Layla with them. We were kept updated with news and photos every few days. We came home to a super clean and tidy house, a happy dog and a beautiful bunch of flowers. We would be happy to have Cheryl and Peter house sit for us again and would definitely recommend them to others.
We came home to a happy cat and a clean house. Communication was great leading up to and during the stay. 10/10. More than happy to recommend them as great house sitters.
Cheryl was so friendly and warm from the very first phone call and made me feel very relaxed and happy to have them in our home.
Cheryl and Pater came for a meet and greet before the sit the dogs absolutely loved meeting them and I could see that it was going to be a week of fun and attention for our boys Diesel and Marshal and the ratbag cat Mac.
Communication before and during the sit was fantastic and the house was lovely and clean to come home to with 3 very happy and content animals.

5Stars Plus! Cheryl and Peter both awesome house and cat sitters, We went away with total piece of mind that the cats would be feed and cared for and the house would be looked after.
They go that extra mile to ensure all our requirments were confirmed and accomodated. We even got our linen washed and hung out on their last morning.
Lovely couple, we hirely recommend and will try and fit in a holiday around there house sitting schedules in Sydney, Thanks again
Cheryl and Peter was wonderful. They cleaned the house and washed the sheets before they left!!
Our cat was very happy when we got home! Cheryl was very careful to make sure she did everything and anything to make sure our cat was well looked after.
They also took it spin themselves to water the plants even though they weren't asked to!! Would have them back again!! Thanks!

Thank you Cheryl and Peter for taking such good care of Bella for me while I was away. I came home to a clean and tidy house as well as a happy, relaxed dog.

Cheryl and Peter only stayed in my home for a couple of days but impressed me with their easy manner and warmth. They clearly enjoyed my cat's quirky personality and cared for her and my home beautifully. I look forward to engaging them in the future if possible and wish them a happy stay in Queensland.
