Neat clean respectful couple.
We have experience with caring for dogs & cats as owners all our life. Sharon also bred & showed Siamese but that was a long time ago. On recent housesits we have also cared for chooks, ducks, sheep & miniature Nepalese goats.
John, recently retired, worked as a construction estimator & is very handy having originally trained as a carpenter in Ireland.
Sharon, recently retired, worked as a registered nurse in many different roles from hospital management to bedside for 45 years. During that time we also owned & ran a 4.5 star bed & breakfast in Hervey Bay for nine years winning many awards. Sharon has a green thumb with a lovely cottage garden, veges & fruit trees.
We both love animals & gardens. We are non-smokers.
We have minded friends homes & done house sits, our references are here on the site.
We want to house sit & travel slowly now we are retired.

Sharon and John house and dog sat for us just after Christmas until mid January 2022. It was a pleasure to meet them, and we instantly felt comforted by their friendly, approachable nature. We sincerely appreciated their timely arrival, and the updates while we were away. Our two labradors were cared for in a very professional manner, and they had another very friendly labrador playmate for the duration. I cannot recommend Sharon and John highly enough. They looked after our 2 kelpie puppies for 3.5 weeks and thoroughly spoilt them, the pups were much better behaved than when we left! The house was left in immaculate condition, and the lawns were well looked after. They kept in regular contact with pics and updates, it was so nice knowing everything was being well cared for!

Sharon and John took excellent care of my home and my pets. I am very grateful for their prompt advice to me that my dog Taz had injured himself. When I was out of contact they consulted my standby person and took him to the vet. They kept me up to date with his treatment and condition, sent me photos and consulted when we could. No rating Sharon has been a wonderful house sitter, clean, tidy, responsible and great with our cat, 2 dogs and chickens. Sharon took wonderful care of the much loved garden and house plants also. I don't know how she found the time to do her own projects, but she did! Well done Sharon!
