Sold my business of 10 years in South Australia, in Jul 21 and have been traveling since Jan 22. I'm now having a fun adventure seeing Australia and caring for peoples pets and homes that have taken me on as their house sitter.
I'm very reliable and clean and love the quiet life. Perfect day for me is coffee at the nearest café in the morning and reading the paper.
Being a former defence member I have no problem in keeping to your list of tasks, mowing, watering, bins etc. If you have a ride on, even better!!
And just as importantly, respect for your home and personal space is paramount.
Rob was an amazing housesitter and showed so much love and care to our home, plants and dog. Frankie dog had a great time and even found a new favourite cafe we now go to all the time. Rob had great communication, giving us regular updates and photos while we were away. He also went above and beyond with cleaning and keeping everything spotless for our return. Highly recommend 😊
Could not thank or recommend Robert more highly. He was great at keeping in contact, took our dog Archie out for lots of long walks and took a lot of care of the house. Was so nice to come home to a happy dog and a really tidy house. Thanks Robert!
Robert and Sarah did a wonderful job caring for our animals and farm while we were away. They took excellent care of our dogs, cats and chickens, sending us regular updates and photos. To top it all off the house was spotless, the washing was done and the lawn was mowed when we returned. We can’t thank them or recommend them highly enough. What a great experience for our first Aussie House Sitter’s experience.
Not always had the best experience with house/dog sitters. However, I can't talk highly enough about Robert's care for our 4 dogs. Lots of pics sent, the dogs looked super chilled. Robert is a kind soul and the dogs loved him. Oh your home kinda attitude when we did get home :) Great care of the garden and a he's pretty good with the feather duster, an added bonus!
Robert, was absolutely the best house sitter. He went above and beyond what I expected of him and I can never thank him enough!
My home was clean and tidy upon our return and my animals were happy and healthy.
I only hope that the next time I go away he is available!

It was fantastic having Robert house and cat sit for me. He sent me regular updates and pics, left the house spotless, kept all of my houseplants alive and managed to form a bond with my sassy tabby!
Due to a death in the family I had to extend my trip and Robert offered to keep coming back to feed the cat for an extra few days despite having moved on to another sit.
Could not recommend this kind and respectful gentlemen enough. You’d be lucky to have him in your home.
Robert was absolutey fantastic, he left the house in much better condition than he got it and took great care of our cats and plants and kept us well up to date with regular pictures and messages.
Having Robert In our home made our trip so much more enjoyable knowing everything there was in good hands.

It was a delight to have Robert look after our cat and our place while we were away, he sent us some great photos! The place was left in good condition, he even did the lawns for us. The cat seemed pleased with life when we arrived home.
I couldn’t speak more highly of Robert! We were so fortunate to have him look after our house for 2 months. He is honest and trustworthy and left our house in pristine condition. We have 2 anxious cats and Robert took the time and patience to win them over. We got many photos of the cats looking super relaxed and happy,

We had Robert take care of our property, garden and pets recently. We could not be happier with his care. Robert kept us up to date with photos and messages. He kept the garden looking fresh and renovated two garden beds during his stay. He was very attentive to anything that needed attention and our dog and cat were happy. Highly recommend Robert to anyone.
Absolutely recommend Robert 100%. He is a great, reliable house/pet sitter. He took great care of our home & garden - and more importantly, our dog Monty (who can get anxious). We met a few days before the sit. Monty immediately bonded with Robert and I felt really comfortable with him from our first discussion.
