We are active recently retired professionals who love to travel but are tired with hotel rooms that are all the same! We love to watch TV from a comfy chair (not the bed !!) and make a cup of tea when we want to, and explore new areas.
We have owned , renovated and maintained homes while living in UK Canada Tanzania and travelled extensively throughout the world. We have had regular housesitting engagements in UK and France (pre Covid).
We currently own our home in North Queensland and have met some wonderful people through Aussiehousesitters who have house sat for us as we travel.
We have owned a number of birds, fish , poultry dogs and cats over the years. Our beautiful golden retriever recently passed away aged 14 after a 2 year illness so we are very used to giving medication. Currently we look after dogs occasionally for friends to get our "dog fix!!" We are experienced with hens over the years and still have 1 elderly girl as a pet and an extensive garden (George has a "green thumb".
We have family in Cairns , Brisbane. Melbourne and Sydney so we are particularly interested in housesitting in those cities to be independent. or en route.
Being a registered teacher I have had police checks for many years , We have quite a number of excellent reviews, We would love to hear from you!!

Liz and George were wonderful house (and pet) sitters. They took great care of our house and our pup Obi. Obi got his daily walk and game of fetch and thoroughly accepted Liz and George as members of the pack. Liz's communication was excellent - always replying promptly to any questions I had while we were away. If schedules align when we are going on our next holiday, we would definitely invite Liz and George to housesit for us again.

Elizabeth and George were a delight to have as our house sitters for our recent three week get away. They took wonderful care of our home and our cat Jaspar, He misses their warm laps to sit on and the attention they gave him. Communication was easy and regular updates came through on how things were going back in Melbourne while we were in the Top End. We had a lovely few weeks!!! Give Jasper an extra cuddle from us ! He is such a sweetheart!
Elizabeth and George were lovely and took wonderful care of our home and pets. Would definitely recommend them to others and would be delighted to have them housesit again if the opportunity arises.
