Rachael & Joshua

My name is Rachael, my partner's name is Josh and we have a beautiful 2.5 year old son, Jude. We are currently located in Kiama, NSW.

I've been housesitting for over 13 years and Josh and I have done it together throughout our 7 years together. Most of our house sitting opportunities came about through word of mouth and we’ve matched with house sits through this website twice in between purchasing our own home.

I have grown up with all the ordinary domestic animals (Dogs, cats, birds and fish) and Jude loves all animals in all shapes and sizes. In our time house sitting, we have had the pleasure of looking after dogs (from pugs to cattle dogs to poodles), mulitple cats (one house had 5), fish and over 20 chooks at a property in Jamberoo.

Josh is a school teacher who runs the gardening programs at Berkeley and Warrawong Public schools and loves tending to any manner of garden/green element.

I work in administration at UOW, just part-time at the moment due to our little Jude. I love the coast, walking dogs along the beach is one of my favourite things to do.

I can provide references from at least 5 other households if you might find that helpful. If you would like to meet up before hand and are local, we would happily do that too :)
