** Hi everyone, I have now booked up 2024 house sits, except for second half of August and from mid October to late November. **

Hi, I am a pet animal loving creative Canberra local keen to look after your home and beloved pets whilst you take a break, from March 2024 onwards!

As the daughter of a vet, I have had a lifetime of experience with dogs, cats, horses and many other animals. I under stand the care and attention that pet animals need!

My beloved beautiful 14.5 yr old Spoodle dog passed away in early 2022 and I am really missing having a pet around, but am not ready to have another one of my own yet. So I'd love to help you to look after your fur babies whilst you are away!

I run my online and markets based business from home, so I am around a lot, esp at night, to take care of your pets and home and keep them calm, safe and happy.

I am currently accepting house sits with a single dog, or dog and cat, or cats. My perfect house sit is with calm friendly pets, who are fine with a single leashed walk a day and are able to cope with my working outside the house up to three days per week.

I am clean, quiet, non drinking, non smoking and fit and healthy homebody. I might even be inspired to draw your pets for you!

Please note that my preference is to accept house sits that have been advertised on site, for transparency and ability for us both to leave reviews. :)

Sam is a 10 out of 10 house sitter and I would have her house sit for us again in a heartbeat. She cared for our dog and cat as well as we do, our plants were watered, and our home was spotless on our return. What I particularly liked about Sam was that she works from home which meant our pets were not left for hours on their own. This was our first time using a house sitter that wasn’t a friend or family member. I was a little nervous to start with but Sam was great to communicate with and made me feel very comfortable and confident. We couldn't have asked for a better house and pet sitter. Sam is a fantastic house sitter. She is caring and conscientious. She looked after our home as if it were her own. Our cat was comfortable with Sam from the moment he met her. Sam was fantastic. She took such good care of Lily (cat) and the apartment. She kept in touch over the 8 weeks I was away, sending photos of Lily and little messages every so often. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sam for any housesit and hope she can come and housesit for me again in the future.
