I was an Airbnb host in a rented home for 3½ years from 2015 to 2018. During that time I had an excellent record both as a host and a tenant. I'm very aware of the concerns that home owners have about leaving their house in the care of strangers, and my consistently good reviews from my guests demonstrate that I keep my living quarters clean, tidy and quiet.

In the five years I've been house sitting on the Central Coast while I cared for my dad, I've built up a regular clientele with many repeat sits.

I'm now travelling in my van and doing house sits that sound interesting along the way.

I'm an animal lover, a reader, a musician/songwriter, and a website mistress. I've kept chickens in Sydney, Wyong and Armidale, for a total of 17 years. I've had dogs and cats - often together. I've had a dog smaller than my cat, and I've had a dog that was a lab x setter. I've owned a goat and raised an orphaned lamb to maturity, so I have some experience with those too. I've had fish (just goldfish) and various birds (budgie, cockatoo, galah). However, these days my general health leaves me unable to keep up with an energetic dog - I'm happy to snuggle up with them in the evenings, but a daytime doggy walker would be necessary if I'm looking after bigger or energetic pooches.

As an Airbnb host my house name was Serenity Place, and many of my guests commented on how apt it was. I aim to bring the same kind of peace to your home, so that you can go away knowing that you have nothing to worry about while I'm in charge.
