Hi, I'm Greg

I'm nature-loving, young at heart and enjoy the great outdoors, connecting with people and their pets.. Walking is one of my favourite activities and I'd be delighted to take your dog out for daily walks and playtime or to give your cat a cuddle when they want to smooch.

Growing up near Lane Cove National Park, I developed a deep love for nature and animals. I have fond memories of playing with our family dog Gina. I also enjoyed spending time with my cousins and their pooch and grandmas silky terrier, Cedric, and later caring for my sister's adorable dog Bella. I also have some lovely feline friends named Oscar and Tinkerbelle who I care for when my friends are away.

I look forward one day, to having my own little terrace with a backyard and park nearby, a loving partner and having our own dog and cat to complete the family. In the meantime, it’s a joy to be able to bond with other people’s pets such as yours. I love the energy of animals, peacefully sleeping one moment and then ready to greet you when you come home, to have some fun at the drop of a hat or a cuddle. They make great companions. So, I will be grateful for the opportunity to be looking after your home and hang out with your 4-legged friends.

I have degrees in education and recreation management and work experience in social work, community development and recreation coordination. I currently work part time as a recreation officer in a community centre in the city and while that customer service position is engaging. I also have a peaceful and quiet demeanour. I'm not into loud music, I'm a non-drinker and non-smoker, and I pride myself on being responsible, reliable, and respectful of others, their property and pets. I also have Reiki energy training so if your pet is aging or recovering from a recent illness. I can assist with their wellbeing. I also have essential oils training with therapeutic grade essentail oils so if your pet has recently been traumatised or very timid. I can assess which calming oil may assist them to help relax and re-balance their wellbeing.

When I am not housesitting, I currently share house in Coogee and I'm more than happy to provide references to support my application.
