Booking steps:
First contact we chat via this website messenger .
Second step: we organise mutually agreed FaceTime/ phone interview date & time via this messenger.
Third step : after phone interview & if mutually agreed i will Housesit, an in person interview is necessary whereby i come to your home for approximately 1 hour .
A face to face interview is highly beneficial for everyone to get to know each other. The animals see me with you as a safe visitor & can be exposed to my scent & voice enabling a trust process to begin. Demonstrations such as : certain animal & property care tasks / key handover, security alarm & appliances, pool pumps , animal medication administration are better demonstrated in person .
My Rules:
1. I will not care for any animals with aggressive or have history of violent behaviour
2: I do not care for children
3: I will not stay overnight or at the property with the owner/tenants. See Aussie Housesitters rules .
4: I will not care for other peoples animals during the booking.
5 No indoor cctv security systems activated during the arranged dates . See Aussie Housesit agreement of Australian Privacy Laws.

Mardi is a fantastic house sitter.
Communication was excellent throughout our 5 week holiday. She looked after our 2 cats really well and even though one of them gave her a hard time disappearing, Mardi kept her cool. The house, garden and pool were all well maintained.

Took excellent care of our cat Phoebe, house and garden while we were away. She communicated with us before and while we were away sending us photos of Phoebe and the garden to reassure us all was well. We arrived back to an immaculate house, plants all still alive after a couple of very hot days and a totally unstressed cat...although she was pretty pleased to see us. We have no hesitation it recommending Mardi to look after your home or pets.

Mardi is a beautiful character we were happy to share our home with. Freya our fur baby instantly connected upon our meet and greet. I couldn't fault the house sitting, communicating was perfect whilst we were away giving us comfort to know all was well at home. She went above and beyond even stripping / cleaning / remaking the bed for us (much appreciated upon our return) and leaving the house in a cleaner state that when she arrived.

Found Mardi easy to deal with!! Nothing was a problem and easy to communicate with! When we returned from our holiday we found our home exactly how we left it and we could tell Mitta was well looked after. We would certainly book her again!

Mardi was great. Excellent communication and the place was spotless. Our cat was in great condition when we got back and Mardi was able to administer some meds that are quite tricky to her.
Mardi was lovely to talk to when we first contacted her and we felt confident she was right for looking after our pet cat and goldfish and the house. Mardi took on a long-term (15 month) housesit for us while we were living overseas - we were nervous as this was our first housesit but she was very reassuring and professional.
Mardi took great care of our house and our inside cats, including administering medication and taking them to their vet checkups, and giving them lots of cuddles.

Words can not say how much Mardi was to Robbie and I. Mardi took great care of the house both inside and out by keeping it clean and tidy, well watered and weeded. Robbie was very sad to see her go as he loved and enjoyed sleeping on her lap and appreciated all the care Mardi gave him including brushing him every night and making sure he had a clean liter box.
