Hello! We are a young family of three: Mariel, Johann, and baby Noah. We are two biologists passionate about nature, animals, and outdoor activities. We both come from families with farms in our lovely home country, and we have great experience pet-sitting.
We love dogs, cats, and especially rabbits and horses. We had several pets before, and that taught us how to be responsible and careful with animals. We speak several languages, we love cooking and practising sports, and we are primarily respectful of nature and the environment,
Johann studied marine biology, and he loves sports, such as fishing, camping, and exploring new places.
I (Mariel ) studied molecular biology and am a PhD student in sustainability. I love sports, learning new languages, and travelling.
We usually travel a lot, for the weekend or longer periods, whenever possible. We think that taking care of pets is an excellent activity while travelling and going to new places. We would love to spend time with your pets and have fun with them!
Mariel and Johann did an amazing job looking after our little puppy for just under 3 weeks. They communicated with us throughout and we came back to a very happy puppy, I think he might even be missing them! House was left clean and tidy and they were a joy to have stay in our home. Highly recommend and would be more than happy to have them sit for us again!
Mariel & Johan are a lovely young couple who our dog Jerry instantly took a shine to. They took great care of him & our home & even left me a suprise box of chocolates when they left. Highly recommended!
Hello , Mariel and Johann housesat for us in July 2022. They looked after our dogs very caringly, especially as they both got nasty coughs. Mariel communicated with me daily about their condition which relieved my anxiety about them. We came home to a house clean and very well looked after fish and plants. We highly recommend them both and would love to use them again.
Mariel & Johann were absolutely amazing! We went away for over 6 weeks and they seamlessly integrated into our home and pets lives, sending us pics and updates, including a vet visit. I felt so comfortable having them in our house, the animals were clearly happy on our return. Guys~ oh big thank you xx
Mariel & Johann were amazing and loved my girls. From the moment I met them they were very invested in my girls. It was great to communicate with them and they understood all the instructions very well.
I came home to a beautifully kept unit. I would without a doubt recommend them to look after your fur babies.

Mariel and Johann were amazing for our House Sit. From the early communication we had decided with the experience to use Mariel and Johann. Our dog was well looked after and we have been so lucky to have great house sitters.
Marial and Johann were everything we could have asked for. They looked after our Dog Bundy and our house with great care and attention. Mariel & Yohann, were extremely accomodating and took to Frankie (our staffy) playing, walking & caring for her.
Their care and cleanliness of our home was exceptional, it didn't even appear that anybody had stayed.
We would definitely recommend them as sitters and would happily have them stay again.
Mariel and Johann are a lovely couple who came to care for our house and hound at relatively short notice - travelling quite a distance to do so - which was greatly appreciated! They both asked great questions and took great care of our home and hound! Klaus immediately took to Mariel which is always a great sign! Mariel and Johann, were excellent house sitters and pet carers. The house was spotless, the garden watered and Siddi my dog was very content.
It was so lovely to come back after 3 weeks to happy calm dogs who sort of looked at us like 'oh, were you away?' so they were obviously not bothered that we'd been away for 3 weeks - What was lovely was a welcome basket of some staples (inc chockie) and a tidy home. Mariel and Johann did a great job caring for our dogs and the house and we would gladly recommend them.
Mariel and Johann were wonderful house sitters! They communicated really well, took amazing care of our Maxi cat (in some difficult circumstances), and our plants, the lawn, and stick insects... they have really been wonderful, thoughtful, and helpful. We will gladly have them back and give then a 100% recommendation to others.
With a house sitter looking after your pets, house and garden - you can really relax. Happy days.
