We are an active, healthy, retired couple with 5 independent adult children.
Non-smokers.
Engineering and Nursing backgrounds so we have a broad range of skills.
Experience in looking after dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, rabbits and chickens, not only in a home setting but also on a barn laid and free range poultry farm.
Care Managers on a 100+ acre farm with cattle, sheep, ducks, geese, and hens.
Interests include cycling, walking, gardening, cooking, reading and table tennis.
We have been house sitting for a number of years now so we have considerable experience.
We always receive very positive feedback from home owners who consistently request further house sitting from us.

Marie and Charles are the most amazing house sitters you could wish for. If it was not for the happy, well cared for pets, we would not have know that anyone had actually been living in our house for a week. It was spotless and nothing was out of place. Marie and Charles are amazing. The delight we had when we came home, I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner house. Apart from everything being sparkling you wouldn't even think they'd been here. They were amazing with our animals and cannot recommend them high enough. They will be the first we turn to should we ever need a housesit again.

Look, I don't know where you stand on angels, but our guess is that Marie and Charles are divine beings in disguise. We are so grateful for the wonderful way they took care of our house, our garden and especially the fourth member of our family: the cat. They reassured us as they went, with kind and easy updates. This is the first time i have had a house sitter and I hit the jackpot. Marie & Charlie are very caring and homely. They followed all my instructions. I think this was their first time they have looked after a horse. Marie & Charlie had to give medication to my dog & horse and did so. Marie & Charlie now know how to give a horse a tablet. Marie and Charles were amazing! Excellent prompt communication before the sit and we met a few days beforehand. They notified us when they arrived and left our house. Although they only sat for 3 days for us, the house was immaculate, even having done some cleaning and gardening for us that was not asked of them. The kindness and their time for that is greatly appreciated. They had no concerns or problems giving our dog her medication and both our animals were happy and healthy when we ... MORE

You can have peace of mind knowing that Marie and Charles have all in hand. Our 3 cats were quite comfortable in their company and upon our return our house was speck and span. Would highly recommend.

Marie and Charlie were amazing and right from the moment we, and our pets, met them we knew we had hit the jackpot. They are the best and went above and beyond. The house has never been so clean and the garden is so tidy. But above all our 2 dogs and cat were looked after with care and love. Plus they are both amazing people... thankyou Marie and Charlie x
