We are a mature Kiwi and English couple. Both 50+ and well travelled. We are quiet, very respectful and are previous dog owners (cocker spaniels).

Lucy loves gardening, is extremely tidy and I am very handy at fixing things if needed. Lucy is home most of the time and I work in North Sydney.

We love our long walks. Happy to take your dog out for their regular exercise and offer cuddles on demand.

Sometimes, we will do pet sits separately. Lucy might look after a dog while Glen looks after a cat or two.

I can't recommend Lucy and Glen enough, and if our dog Shadow could show her appreciation, her tail would be wagging furiously. The house was spotless, the garden lush, the mail sorted and we were kept up to date with while we were away (with doggie photos of course!) There was even a vase of flowers to welcome us home and our dog was sporting a new raincoat - thank you Lucy & Glen. We will be welcoming Lucy & Glen back to our home when we travel in July. Glen came to look after our house and cat in April 2024. We met a few weeks beforehand and he was friendly and an experienced house sitter. He looked after our cat really well, sending photos while we were away and we came home to a lovely clean house too! Glen will be returning for another house sit at ours later this year - we'd highly recommend him!

Glen has been an amazing house sitter for us. We did have an issue arise that needed a tradesman to attend and Glen communicated clearly, organised everything and dealt with it without fuss. We appreciated his help and would recommend him highly. A very happy cat and quails, and the house was well presented on our return.

Lucy is a pro with dogs and house sitting and we are so thankful we found her. She looked after our dogs and home and my plants during a pretty intense heatwave and was excellent at communicating and keeping the pooches and garden watered and rested and cool during this time. Even when we had an unexpected flying ant infestation from the heat outside, she remained calm and very very helpful for us (so sorry about that Lucy!!). Lucy and Glen are the best! Very hard to find a better house sitting couple. Really lovely, mature, practical and sensible people. They were so caring of our two dogs-Winston & Spencer. Spencer the puppy devil-we sent back to the breeder for some basic training-and for Lucy, Glen & Winston's sanity. Needless to say and with further help from Rick the Dog Man-Spencer is a different little boy now: 10 months old and easy to manage. Lucy and Glenn were the best house sitters we've ever had. On our return we were delighted that the apartment was cleaner than when we left on our trip. Our dog loved these two and it was obvious they reciprocated buying her a new dog toy which she plays with constantly. The one downside was that Lucy rearranged the stuff in our fridge but that was the only problem. I have to confess I left most of her arrangements in place, so it wasn't a problem after all.
