My Husband and I have recently retired,we are young at heart. I have been a Medical Secretary for 7years for a Canberra eye Surgeon And my Husband Kevin a property,Maintence,caretaker,Gardener for a large complex in Canberra. My Husband is an ex farmer who has understanding of animals and the land.
We own our own home in Canberra,we are reliable,honest Trustworthy people,and will look after your home and Pets as if they were our own.
We love to travel and see new places . We have lived in the UK,NZ and now settled in Australia
If the property needs some small jobs done, we would oblige.
We are non smokers.
We have police check,and have references when needed We have looked after 3 homes,one in Burradoo Sydney highlands,another on the North shore of Sydney at Narrabeen,and a large home in Surrey Hills.

It was our pleasure to leave our house in Sylvia and Kevin's care. We kept in touch during the house sit and on our return found our house and garden impeccably maintained. I highly recommend this lovely couple and we wouldn't hesitate to contact them again. The best part was knowing someone was there and looking after our garden because the weather was so hot while we were away. Sylvia and Kevin were the perfect housesitters. Our dog Ellie was the happiest we had seen her in a long time, and cat Max was content. We came home to a spotless house, lawns mowed and hedges trimmed. We ahd even been left some flowers and a fresh carton of milk!

Sylvia and Kevin are just lovely people. Our crazy pet family of 2 dogs (lab & jack Russell who loved Kevin and his walks), cat, turtle and fish were all happy and healthy when we returned from our 2 week break. The house was beautifully cared for with a bunch of fresh flowers waiting for us on our return. I hope these tremendous two will be available to sit for us again in the future.

They looked after our home as though it was their own, in fact I think the dogs are still missing them! Kevin did some great work in the garden, pruning huge hedges and magically fitting it all into our green waste bins. Sylvia changed our sheets on departure which we really appreciated after the car trip home along with the fact that the house was very clean. Communication was great, this couple even arrived a night earlier ( Xmas night) and stayed in a local hotel to ensure they were able to commit to our requested timeframe. They went out of their way to ensure the house was well maintained along with early morning walks for lulu to avoid the heat. We arrived home to a beautifully clean house and happy puppy! Kevin and Sylvia are fantastic house sitters. They looked after our animals and our home whilst we were away for a month. Our fifteen and a half year old dog needed medication and extra care each day so I was a bit nervous to leave him. On our return we found both our dog and cat happy and healthy and our home as though we had not left. I would highly recommend Sylvia and kevin to anyone needing house sitters.

They made a great effort to travel very early on New Years Day to fit in with our travel plans and kept us updated on how the dogs were going over the two weeks we were away. Our puppy had just developed a passion for escaping and they went to great lengths to ensure he was well supervised and never left alone for any length of time.
