I am a lover of cats and dogs, goats, animals both big and small.
I am a single, mature, caring and creative.
BVA in Fine Arts and Bachelor of Nursing RN. When not at work I like to be out in the garden and have a green thumb.
I am currently employed part-time as a Registered Nurse at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
When not taking care of another's home and pets, I live with family. I have been house-sitting for nearly a year (please see my reviews) and am saving for a home.
I believe in caring for another's home as I would my own, and I have loved having the opportunity to be able to care for someone's pets/ fur babies. For the past year, through house sitting I have been able to explore my local home in Hobart; with the only downside of being a pet sitter is becoming attached to another person's pet (I hope to one day again be able to have my own) as it is never easy saying goodbye.
I feel I am flexible, kind, respectful, trustworthy, and clean and I can provide references and referees at your request.

Thanks Alison for being such an outstanding Housesitter. Great communication pre, during and post the sit. The house was spotlessly clean on our return even though we said to Ali not to bother cleaning the house as it was only a short sit. The cats were happy and relaxed on our return and there were signs that Sweetpea had left a little present for Ali in the bedroom ( a wood mouse). I cannot recommend Ali highly enough. Communication in the lead up to and during the sit were excellent and timely. Ali took great care of our home and it was delightfully clean on our return. The inclusion of some basics in the fridge were a real bonus after 30+ hours of travel. I am happy to have Ali back for future sits, fully confident that our home is being cared for by one of the best!

Ali is an absolute dream. We were so pleased to have her stay and look after our cat, and she completely exceeded expectations with the house and yard. Before we left on our trip we cleaned the house top to bottom so it would be nice for Ali's housesit and for when we returned home, but the house was even cleaner when we returned! Alison was fantastic. I asked her at quite short notice to help out as the booked house sitter had a change of plans. Throughout the whole time we were away (we were over seas for 4 weeks), Alison kept in close contact and went above and beyond to reassure us that our home, our dog, chickens and ducks were all doing just fine. Alison was the perfect house sitter. She dropped by to learn the ropes before we left and gave us regular updates while we were away. We returned to an immaculately clean and tidy house with some thoughtful touches such as milk in the fridge. Pinto was well looked after and we really could not ask for a better house sitter.

Alison was our dream house sitter. Very caring, friendly and easy to communicate with. Our home and garden were immaculate and a credit to her. The garden required constant care due to our dry winter and on arrival home we were greeted with beautiful spring blooms.
