I am a retired Primary Healthcare nurse and John is a retired firefighter. We own a five acre property in the Midwest of WA, and have been housesitting since 2019.
We both have current National Police clearances and are honest and reliable.
We have had several house sits in both urban and rural areas and on acreage and we understand how important it is for you as home owners to have confidence in the people who you entrust with the care of your pets and property. It gives us great pleasure to know that home and pet owners can relax and enjoy their time away while we take care of your everything back at home.
Having grown up on a cattle and sheep farm in the Lower South West of WA, I have also loved owning and caring for dogs, cats, goats, poultry and pet sheep. I am comfortable with animals (both large and small) in a farm situation.
I enjoy being physically active, caring for gardens and I love pets . My hobbies include photography, cycling, walking, and horse riding. I have several years of experience with horses, which are my greatest passion, having ridden and owned horses for most of my life, including breeding one of my own.
John has very good knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment, reticulation and fencing, both rural and residential He also has formal qualifications in Fire Engineering and Management, his hobbies include photography and technology, and has a Private Pilot License. He is also a big softie when it comes to pets!
We have a 9 metre caravan (overall length) which we are very happy to stay in depending on homeowners' requirements.

Judy and John did a great job and I would be very happy for them to do a repeat sit here anytime. Communication before and during the house sit was excellent but only as necessary. John and Judy were wonderful sitters for our dog and home. They reassured us our girl was doing well while we were away and looked after our place. They did a bit of cleaning and mowing so the place looked perfect when we came home. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
Judy and John are a very friendly down-to-earth couple who were a joy to meet and communicate with throughout the sit. John and Judy were fantastic house and pet sitters. From the very start communication was quick and efficient and continue throughout their stay (with us contacting them whilst we were away). They have prided themselves with their care to both our home and our dog Darcy. Would highly recommend them and they will definitely be our first choice in the future. What a luxury to get away and never worry about what's going on at home. Judy and John are a delightful couple. They handled everything brilliantly (including the unexpected arrival of a calf!), fit right in with the dogs and left the house cleaner than when they arrived. Heartfelt thanks to them both; we would be more than happy to have them back any day.

We can't speak more highly of Judy and John who recently looked after our dog, alpacas and home. Judy maintained great contact with us, arranging a visit to meet our dog before their commencement date and providing updates while we were away. It was an absolute pleasure to have John and Judy house sit for us whilst we were away, the manner they took care of our home and animals (numerous) meant we could relax and enjoy our holiday knowing all was in good hands, we would ask them back anytime. Even our dog storm missed them when they left, she sat at the gate hoping they would come back. 5 star care, 5 star people
Judy and John have house sat for us 3 times this year.
We have 2 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat and guinea fowl on 13 acres just out of Perth. They are outstanding house sitters and we love them to bits.
They loved our animals like we do and looked after the property beautifully. Mowing, watering, gardening, cleaning, everything always looked fantastic when we arrived home even when once it was 2 weeks early !!

Judy & John made it possible for me to take a well earned break from my property. I felt completely reassured when leaving that everything would be in good hands & this certainly was the case. Their knowledge of the land, farming life, in particular horses was so valuable. They cared for 3 horses, chickens, my cat & dog. We cannot say how thrilled we are about our first house sitters John and Judy. Daisy our dog had divided loyalties when we arrived home which told me how beautifully she was cared for, I think she'd been exercised very well given the weather wasn't great.
We received lots of photos and were able to call up to get updates often. We arrived home early due to lockdown and John and Judy had to stay on a few days until it lifted which was great as we shared meals and stories.

Judy and John have just completed an 8 week stint of housesitting my home and garden in Albany. I am very grateful for the way they looked after the property while Hank and I were away ,Upon our return everything was spick and span,the indoor plants were healthy and the garden very well tended.While we were away the reticulation system required some maintenance which John was able to attend to.

Judy and John did an absolutely wonderful job of looking after our house and animals. Both dogs were very relaxed and happy when we returned and all chooks accounted for! We especially appreciated the care taken of Buddy with his diabetes. The house was left in a spotless condition as well as the yard. Communication was made throughout the sit to reassure us that all was going well.
We would not hesitate to recommend Judy and John as housesitters.

Judy and John were amazing house sitters. They looked after our fur babies. Bonding with Dusty Dog and walking her everyday. Saber Cat is not much of a people person, but she was well looked after. Chickens all good too. Garden was watered and Judy even did some weeding, THANK YOU :)
Dusty has been missing her new best friends. We would have them back anytime to look after our babies and house.
Judy & John came to look after our house, our pet peacock and our chickens. All I can say is they were fantastic! The house was immaculate and quite possibly cleaner than when we had left it! As Judy is a keen gardener the garden was groomed as well! Can highly recommend John & Judy to house sit, you will not be disappointed.
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
