I can offer you peace of mind while you take time away from home. I will care for your home and precious pets and respect your home sitting and pet caring instructions and routines while keeping your home clean and tidy.
I am a reliable, organised, clean, calm and capable person and I keep myself fit and active.
I managed a Community Centre for over 25 years and have been retired for 8 years.
I live on a 5 acre property on the outskirts of Melbourne's south east suburbs with my family. My responsibilities on the property is to manage the garden and care for the chickens.
My family have three dogs ; two cavoodles and an aging, blind Labrador a cat, a horse, cattle and sheep and a large garden. In the past we have had budgies, fish, a turtle and rabbits.
I have cared for all of these when the family have been away, for extended annual holidays and shorter breaks.
I have had domestic pets - dogs, cats, fish, and birds - all of my life.
I have been house and pet sitting for many years and my sits have included-
- a Labrador suffering with anxiety and eventually blindness,
- homes with cats - friendly, playful, aloof, independent and cuddly
- a home with a menagerie of pets - cats, Guinea pigs, fish, chickens and stick insects
- Dog and cat house sits and
- Several single dog sit
My house sits have all been in NSW and Victoria - rural and suburban - but I am happy to also travel to South Australia and Tasmania.
I have regular customers who ask me back to help them on repeat occasions.
I pass my time reading, writing, ancestry research, knitting, long walks and gardening
I enjoy road trips and exploring new regions and supporting their local communities and small businesses.
I am a non smoker and I diligently follow Covid safe processes and advice. I am fully vaccinated.
