My passion for animals & enjoyment of change has led me to dog/house sitting in retirement. It is proving to be a wonderful choice as there have been some very gratifying sits & I look forward to many more.
Having been a Home Economist I am very capable in all things domestic and therefore managing a home & animals comes very naturally. My success is confirmed by each of the 5 Star reviews for the sits which I have done for Aussiehousesitters & 2 alternate sites.
Additionally I am happy to provide a Police check on request.
Although I am a senior I still participate in ocean swims, Life Saving duties & long distance Camino walks in Europe therefore I am fit, enthusiastic & very energetic.

Annie is an absolute treasure! We went away for a month, and Annie cared for our home, dogs, chickens, alpacas and cattle as her own. Our dog Ziggy is terrified of thunderstorms and La Niña wasn't kind while we were away, but she seemed unfazed by any extra care she needed to give! When we returned the dogs were so content and the house cleaner than when we left. Lots of extra touches around the property. Anne looked after our 2 year old Spaniel Milo for 8 days. She made the effort to come over and check on the house and Milo before we left, which was great way to meet her too. Anne sent us regular videos of Milo to let us know how he was doing. She also looked after the house very well, even washing all bedding used. A big thank you to Anne, we would highly recommend her for any house/pet sitting jobs!

I am very thankful for the care Anne provided to my pets and home while I was away and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a house sitter. Anne communicated with me just as promised, with regular videos of my pets happily doing their thing. When I arrived home, my house was clean and tidy, the sheets washed and hung on the line and there was even some fresh milk in the fridge. I will happily have Anne to house sit in the future.

Anne took wonderful care of both our dogs and the house. I could tell the dogs were both very well taken care of when we returned and received videos of them on their outings. I have never seen the dogs so relaxed for when we returned! And the house was super clean and well looked after which is always so lovely to come home to after being away. Absolutely no hesitation in having Anne stay again!

Anne was our first house sitter and what a wonderful experience. She went the extra mile, being practical and showing initiative. She fixed things we hadn’t and looked after our house and beloved animals with such care and attention. We arrived home to a clean home, happy and cared for animals and completed odd jobs! She was caring and compassionate. We couldn’t ask for more.

Ann is a great house sitter and this is the second time I have had her to house sit for me. I arrived home to two happy relaxed cats and a clean and tidy house and garden. There was also some milk and other food in the fridge so we could put something together for dinner. Much appreciated. Ann communicated with me while I was away including sending videos of the cats or checking on anything she need to clarify. All in all another successful house sit. Many thanks to you Ann!

Anne is simply wonderful house and dog sitter. She is an organised ,very caring and trustworthy woman with excellent communication skills. My husband and I love our dogs and it is not easy for us to leave them however Anne put our minds at ease straight away and went above and beyond in making sure our 3 fur kids felt secure during our absence . Thank you once again Anne for everything .

She even came back the morning after the sit was finished to help out with feeding in the morning as our original flight was cancelled.. Anne was such a fantastic sitter. She looked after our dogs so well and they were very happy and contented with her. Our house was immaculate when we got home and she'd even done some little jobs for us and made sure we had milk and other basics when we got home, which we really appreciated. Great communication and she's just lovely. Would definitely have Anne house sit again!
