JAN/FEB 2025 SIT WANTED NEAR MOUNT ELIZA, VIC

I have a degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare and I have worked at various vets, a dogs home, farms and stables. I have experience caring for a wide range of animals, obviously dogs, cats and farm animals but also tropical fish, rodents, small mammals, amphibians, reptiles, insects, arachnids and honey making bees.

I am a registered foster carer with the RSPCA and foster mainly small mammals. I am also a registered puppy carer for Seeing Eye Dogs and have helped to raise many puppies over the last few years.

I'm super clean and tidy (think of Monica from Friends) and as a family we can provide many references from the pet sits and house swaps we have completed. We also have excellent references available from airbnb. Police checks, ID and working with children documents can be provided on request.

We come as a family of four, my husband is James and we have two children (7yr old boy & 5yr old girl). We love animals and we love travelling and exploring new areas. We are looking for weekend getaways within Victoria or longer stays interstate during the school holidays.

Jo and James were fantastic. Great communication and kept our dog active and walking in his favourite places They were a joy to deal with and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Jo and her family were fantastic house sitters. Jo kept us up to date with all our pets and left the house cleaner than when we left it. This was the first time we have used this service and Jo was very easy to communicate with and explain how it all works. Hope one day this family will be able to stay again.

I met Jo and her 2 young children before the sit so that I could see how the children were with my elderly and nervous cat. They were both so gentle and knew exactly how to behave, letting her come and check them out before responding very quietly so I was reassured in advance . Jo was an excellent communicator sending pictures and keeping me informed of Charlie’s well-being . She left an extremely clean tidy house and was an absolute pleasure to have in my home . We have had absolutely fantastic house sitters. Jo, her husband James and beautiful children Kai and Maisie were a great team. They arrived a few days earlier to "learn the ropes", and to get to know the animals. They took our 3 dogs to the beach or to the lake every day. The cat, guinea pigs, chickens and fish were also very well looked after. We had regular updates with photos sent to our watsapp group.
