Donna and I are an easy going, recently retired couple whose children have nearly all flown the nest (one more to go!). We live in Harcourt in central Victoria in our own historic home which we have been busy renovating for the past twenty years. Donna being a florist has the most magnificent garden which requires a lot of tender care so we are well used to looking after them. We have had many pets over the years including two dogs, two cats, goldfish, turtle and half a dozen chooks at the one time in our menagerie. The last of our pets, our beautiful cocker spaniel Lailah passed away two years ago of old age. So as we now have no significant pets to worry about (goldfish in the outside pond don't count) we are spreading our wings and seeing a lot more of this wonderful country of ours. We are both non smokers, I'm a teetotaller and Donna drinks very sparingly.

We always respect the properties and the privacy of the owners of the house sits we do.

We will reply as quickly as we can, definitely the same day if not too late but not necessarily straight away.

We recently had Peter & Doona come to look after our beautiful fur baby Chad. I only spoke to Peter on the phone and what a lovely person he was I felt extremely comfortable and happy to leave Chad while we attended our overseas holiday. The home was left absolutely perfect (Better then my cleaner had left it ) I would love to secure Peter and Donna again if we ever went overseas again.. We loved having Peter and Donna come and stay. They loved our Rosie and house and looked after both beautifully. We came home to a beautiful clean house with fresh milk and my washing brought in and folded. Wow. We would love to have them come and stay anytime! Thank you!

We would highly highly recommend Pete and Donna to all future Sitters. Their communication from day one was fantastic. We loved Pete's sense of humour and get we knew them both before they had even started the sit. For reasons out of their control Donna was unable to make the sit, and even so Pete drove 3 days to get to us to honour the sit. We were so appreciative. We enjoyed our holiday so much more knowing our animals were happy and safe with Donna and Peter. From the start their communication with us was great, we knew exactly what each of us wanted and needed and the dogs especially accepted them straight away. Peter and Donna were really great, they kept in touch with us daily on how coco was going, with pictures of her daily on the beach with her ball! The house was clean and very tidy on our return, with a lovely gift as a thank you for the use of the house, very unnecesary but much appreciated none the less! look forward to having them sit again.

Donna and Peter have been absolutely wonderful house and doggie sitters, in every regard. Most importantly, Minno had a great time clearly receiving a lot of attention and getting to go on walks every day. The house was incredibly clean when we came home AND had additional things fixed! And to top it, a big pot of soup and fresh fruit were waiting for me when I got home, which I ate with gusto, plus MInno got a lot of extra doggie toys!! Donna and Peter were amazing house sitters. We booked then 5 months in advance, and they kept in touch regularly which was really important to us. The house was immaculate when we returned, and they even made some chocolate muffins and a spaghetti bolognaise for us when we returned. They left us comprehensive notes on how the house-sitting experience was for them and our glass notice board in the kitchen was filled with lovely comments about their stay. Peter and Donna were fantastic house guests. We felt totally at ease leaving our pets and house to be looked after. Max took an instant liking to both of them, knowing walks would be involved. Our communication leading up to and during was fantastic and they often kept in touch prior to the house sit. When we arrived home, the house was tidy, sheets washed and the best surprise was dinner cooked for us! Amazing!!! Thank you for visiting Peter and Donna and we are glad you enjoyed your stay.

Peter and Donna were great house sitter they communicated with us prior to housesitting which gave us confidence and assurance. They looked after our home and pets with love and care and left everything in pristine condition for our return. Donna even left us some yum bakery treats in the fridge. We thank them so much and would not hesitate to have them sit for us again.
