We are a retired married couple, who live in our 30ft Fifth Wheeler, so we are self contained and would only need power and water.
We do have one kelphie/mareema dog, named Sally, she is 13 years old and is well behaved and supervised. Before leaving Brisbane, we did a couple of caretaking jobs, and have done various house sitting jobs, since leaving, to travel around Australia and can provide written references below. We can also provide verbal references. I do have two recent written references, but I have not had power, for a while, since leaving the Burbank house sit in December 2023 The last one, was a Burbank, in Brisbane, for 4 months. We looked after the gardens, vegie garden, mowed etc., We also feed the native birds, every afternoon. The other one, was at Ravenshoe Historic Railway Museum. We did this caretaking job, for two years, in a row and did friends house sitting in between. But, I will send you some others. We have been on the road now, for 8 and a half years.
We are presently in South Australia, heading to Cowell, to catch up, with our friends, from Burbank, who go fishing there every year. We will be staying in the Harbour Town Caravan Park, from the 18th February 2024, until the 28th March 2024, so we can head to Berri, to do your house sit, if you will have us.
We did have a 10 acre property, of our own, in Jimboomba, nr. Beaudesert, Qld, but sold this, before leaving Brisbane, in July 2015.
My husband Graeme, was a self-employed carpenter, for many years, but before retiring, he worked as a truck driver/delivery man, in Cleveland area, Qld.
I worked, as a Property Manager and then Senior Property Manager, for a Real Estate Office, in Sunnybank, close to Brisbane Qld, for 12 years, before retiring myself, so know a great deal, about looking after other people's properties, as if they were my own.

We were lucky to have Louise & Graham Cox house-sit for us when we travelled to Perth & then had an extended holiday in WA & NT. They agreed to stay longer than we originally requested. Our dog was well looked after & walked regularly which is no mean feat because she is not friendly towards other dogs. Jenny an I have no hesitation in recommending, these two larricans for house sitting job. A superb performance all round , from a couple of very likeable characters 100% Good in all aspects.
