Our 25yrs in international aid & development means we're reliable, calm & resourceful. We manage life with a big dose of common sense and humour :)

We retired 8 years ago after many years living and working in Canberra and overseas, though Geoff is working from home this year to fund his next big ski trip! This means we’ll be around during the day for company and to maintain your pet’s routine. We are tidy and house-proud, police-checked, don't smoke, and have our own car.

We have a gorgeous 8yr old black labrador named Kuro (she stays home when we house sit). As a pup, we trained Kuro with a Delta-certified trainer using positive reinforcement methods. Kuro is now a much loved Story Dog, helping kids gain the confidence to read each week.

We are:
** Experienced homeowners: We understand what it takes to maintain a happy, clean and secure home. We've looked after properties with pools, ride-on mowers & on tank water.
** Animal lovers: We've raised puppies, kittens, chooks, rabbits, fish and mice. We've handled emergencies, medications, special diets, training and play dates.
** Plant lovers: We have an indoor jungle and an outdoor native garden and vegie patch. Our plants are precious and we work hard to keep them thriving.

We strive for:
** Great communication: We appreciate clear instructions and will provide regular updates & photos for your peace of mind.
** A high standard of care: We’ll provide a high standard of care and in exchange we prefer homes that:
- have well trained and friendly pets
- are clean, safe and comfortable with well maintained facilities (we'd appreciate photos of the kitchen, bathroom and guest bedroom)
- is non-smoking
- has reliable internet and a space for Geoff to work (desk with adjustable office chair).

While we'll take great care of your house and property, we’ll prioritise the well-being of your pets and give them much care and attention. We're keen to explore so please get in touch if you're looking for a caring and friendly couple.
