We are a happy- healthy- active- non smoking- retired professional couple living on the Gold Coast QLD. We live in a lovely home right on the Broadwater in Runaway Bay. We are people who take pride in the homes & pets we look after as if they were our own & respect others privacy.
Rob was country born & raised so he knows his way around all types of animals.
Happy to do local house sits for most periods of time.
We are also avid travellers & enjoy exploring different places throughout Australia & overseas.
Our fur children (Border Collie Sisters) passed on several years ago so we became Grey Nomads & after several trips around Australia & various other smaller trips decided to sell the van.
We are now hoping to have the opportunity to look after both your home & fur children .Chrissy & I have looked after several homes & animals over the years ( have even raised 6 children) . So we are very well qualified to love & care for all your precious possessions.

Looked after our house and two dogs for about a month and we were able to enjoy a relaxing time away and come home to no problems whatsoever - house was spotless and they had even cooked a casserole and cake for our return!!! They will definitely be most welcome to housesit for us again!
Rob and Chrissy are a lovely, friendly couple who are very easy to communicate with. We felt very reassured that our beloved 13 year old Labrador, Guinness, was in very good hands whilst we were overseas for 5 weeks They sent photos and regular updates about Guinness which we really appreciated. Rob & Chrissy were fantastic sitters and we would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone. From the initial meet and greet - they were very friendly and put me straight at ease. We got regular photo updates on our fur-baby Norman and they even bought him some extra treats while they were here. Rob and Chrissy were the most amazing house sitters one could hope for. They communicated frequently, kept the house and yard in immaculate condition, and most importantly, took great care of our dog Winston... and just to top it off, upon our return, Chrissy had cooked us a delicious dinner and desert, and the house was spotless. I would not hesitate in recommending Rob and Chrissy - they were truly fantastic!

Wow, no one could ask for more. Despite some of the heaviest rain ever experienced in Berry, Rob & Chrissy looked after our home as if it were their own. They could have left on day 1 of the rain & we would have thought that absolutely ok, but they were just so capable and keen to stay that I left as our road was closed from flood waters. They stayed up nights running pumps and pulled out the carpet when 1 night the deluge came into their bedroom. Their things were sodden, but still they kept ... MORE
Rob & Chrissy looked after Gia as if it was there own little dog they walked her took her on picnics sent me pictures & kept me updated on her they looked after my house & garden my house was spotless from top to bottom they cooked me dinner & dessert for when I came home they reorganised my kitchen was so nice to see everything done they washed down my patio garage was cleaned you couldn't ask for anyone better to sit for your pet & house they were marvellous next holidays if they were ... Rob and Chrissy were great sitters. They looked after our lovely little dog and kept the unit immaculate. It was a lovely surprise to arrive home to a cooked meal. Rob also dropped us off at the airport and picked us up from the station This was very helpful considering the foot injury Rita suffered on the way home. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to other people requiring a house sit.

Rob & Chrissy are an amazingly kind, funny and generous couple We returned home to find 3 Border Collies relaxed, happy and contented. All reports from the other 'beach walkers' have been very positive and I do believe our pups are missing the attention lavished upon them. Our house was spotless on our return and at the late hour we arrived it was wonderful to find fresh bread and milk, soup and even cake.
