We're an active retired couple who would look after your home like our own. We're non-smokers, like pets and happy to do some gardening/watering. We’ve now sold our van and have settled in the Central Coast after having a break due to Covid. We do miss the trips, the people and the pets. We like exploring new areas. We came upon house sitting by chance and never regretted it. We have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chooks, sheep, alpacas, goats, cattle and a stick insect. My husband, Gerry is a retired Rural Fire Brigade captain, an ex-President of our local RSL Sub-Branch, and a Vietnam Vet. I cook, knit crochet, and generally look after us both domestically. We play cards and are hooked up to roaming broadband so we have access to family and friends. We can provide references and both been through multiple police checks. No rating Gerry & Trish looked after our household of two dogs and one chook for a month. They are a lovely couple who took great care of our house and pets. Both were in very good shape upon our return. In fact I suspect that our two dogs are missing their kind care. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They were friendly and kept in touch with us via text to let us know all was well. They are clearly well experienced in looking after other people's homes and precious pets.

Trish and Gerry minded our home and pets for 4 weeks. Our animals have not only been cared for during our time away, they have been spoiled as well! Our home has been well taken care of too! Upon returning home, the house was lovely and clean. There were fresh flowers put in vases and Trish had an evening meal prepared for us. Trish and Gerry have provided us with more than we expected and feel like old friends. They are so friendly and accommodating and we are more than happy to recommend ... MORE

No rating Trish and Gerry looked after our house and pets for a month during which there were extreme temperatures of over 40 deg. C and catastrophic fire conditions. They coped admirably and we recommend them for future house sits.

No rating Gerry and Trish have been great sitters for us while we were away approx 2 1/2 weeks. Our animals were very happy (chickens, guinea pigs, dog and cat). The house looked lovely and it was nice to come home to a clean house. Gerry and Trish are a lovely couple with a wonderful sense of humour and we would be happy to have them sit again :)
