Looking for peace of mind while you are away on holidays then perhaps, we are the right fit for you.
We are both honest, mature, active, healthy, (both non-smokers) couple who have been house sitting for 7 years and we would welcome the opportunity to look after your home and pets.
We are clean and responsible people and will take care of your garden and any other day to day things around your home (pot plants, lawns, pool, mail etc) and keep you updated as needed over any concerns you may have with your pets and property allowing you peace of mind while you are away.
We have cared and looked after a range of animals. Dogs (all sizes) cats, guinea pigs, chickens, birds, sheep, other farm animals and fish.
Steve is a Diesel Fitter by Trade and can deal with most issues should they arise at the property in your absence. We are conscious of the care and security required to maintain a property.
We currently reside North of Brisbane and do house sitting in and around the area including the Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay Burnett, Brisbane City Suburbs and do repeat sits when needed should this be something you would also like to consider.

Our 2 spoilt pooches loved the attention, walks on the beach and of course getting their daily meals on time. The house was clean when we arrived home, the dogs were happy. All was good. Steve and Karen communicated really well via phone and messages. They arrived an hour before the sit and were very friendly, asking plenty of questions about the dogs and house. They stayed for three nights and we returned to a clean house and happy dogs. They even washed their bedsheets! I would highly recommend them if you want peace of mind while you're away from home.
Karen and Steve took excellent care of our energetic dog while we were out of town. They kept in touch with photos and left the house immaculate when we returned. Would 100% recommend them ☺️

From the first contact we had with Karen and Steve, we knew our dogs would be in good hands. Communication was outstanding and they phoned prior to the sit to answer any queries we had. As nervous newbies, this was extremely comforting. Our dogs instantly liked Karen and Steve which was unusual around people they didn't know.

I can't recommend Karen and Steve high enough. They were great to communicate with before they house & puppy say for me in October 2018 for 2 weeks.

Steve and Karen house sat for us for 3 weeks. Arrived day before to meet and greet. We had regular updates while away, and was so lovely to come home to 2 cooked meals in the fridge, home clean and tidy plants watered and most of all our babies happy and healthy. Although we were nervous being first timers, Karen and Steve were the perfect house sitters. We loathed leaving our pup Chico behind, but found he was is the greatest of care. Karen and Steve (with our support) even reinforced some of the slipped dog training and Chico is a much better behaved pooch - going out safely for walks now and waiting for his food patiently. Karen and Steve are very nice people, friendly and easy to get along with. They are experienced house sitters and I was very happy with the service they provided. I have a rambling cottage with a large garden, and when I returned the cottage was clean and tidy, my two cats and seven chickens had obviously been well-cared for, and the garden was thriving. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for friendly, reliable and trustworthy house sitters.

Cannot speak highly enough of how great Karen and Steve were while we were away. 2 weeks earlier our dog had gotten into a bit of trouble and nicked his ear requiring stitches.
Karen and Steve were both so great dealing with him, his antibiotics and were even kind enough to send through email updates with photos while we were away. This kept the kids (and us) VERY happy.

We are so pleased that we had picked Karen and Steve looking after our house and pets they have done a fantastic job. And it was so lovely to come home to dinner cooked waiting for us and the house and pool was left lovely and clean. And Steve looked after the lawns and garden for us. Even to find fresh milk in the fridge was good saved us going shopping as soon as we arrived home. Could not wish for better house sitters.
