Abbey & Alice

Hi! We're Abbey and Alice, usually living in the South West of the UK (most recently in Bristol). We are both experienced and nurturing pet owners, having combined experience in owning and caring for: dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses and parakeets!

We arrived in Sydney on 3rd November 2023 and plan to spend our coming months/the next year travelling, enjoying the sun and having a well-earned break! With this brings flexibility with location for any house sits, as we are open to all locations!

We have completed three housesits around New South Wales so far and have absolutely loved them.

As a couple, we also have our own little Jack Russell (Basil) who is being temporarily cared for by Abbey's mum back in the UK while we travel/work abroad for the year. Basil has just turned two years old and we raised her from a pup, so we are well versed in training a working terrier from scratch, love our regular walks as well as socialising with other dogs and their owners.

Back in the UK, Abbey usually works in TV (a Casting Producer) on shows like The Great British Bake Off, The Dog House and The Dog Academy (you may sense a theme here!).

Alice is a trained secondary school English teacher and for the past year has been working in Children's Services in Bristol as a Placement Officer, placing children and young people in foster care, residential care and supported accommodation.

We would love the opportunity to look after and spoil your lovely pets, whatever they may be, and we would look after your home as if it was our own.

Abbey is also confident in maintaining and nurturing any houseplants you have dotted around!
