Hello. I've recently sold my Italian restaurant after operating for 19 years and after caring for my mother (and her Jack Russell!) for 10 years I am ready for a road trip. I would love to have some furry companions and home comforts along the way.
I love animals, nature and gardening (happy to indulge at your place!).
Having lived in the country for some time, I'm aware of water management, fire risks etc and am good in an emergency.
I've always had pets and have looked after many others , including German shepherds,spaniels,Great Danes, staffies, cats,chooks, goats,horses, cows...and a free range cockatiel! I'm the go to pet sitter for family and friends.
Previous work experience includes Youth Worker/Coordinator, wedding and B&B manager and grape picker in the Barossa and 'floater' on Lizard Island in my younger years.
I am responsible, have good common sense, and am respectful of others and their property.

Sandy is a very warm and caring person who gave Odie our cockatiel all the attention he needed even picked his favourite grass for him. She left the home neat and tidy and at all times communicated with us. On return everything was in order and Odie was happy. Sandy is totally trustworthy and caring.

We absolutely LOVED Sandy! She is an amazing woman with so much love for animals and ensuring a job well done. We came home to happy dogs & chickens, an impeccably clean house & garden and even a beautiful cooked meal, followed by a delicious apple crumble. I cannot recommend her enough, and am looking forward to having her house sit for us again!
