Hi home/pet owners! Since 2018, I've successfully completed approx 85 house-sits in QLD & NSW, including several repeat stays. I have a police check (recently updated - see the last of my photos), I'm ID verified by Aussie House Sitters, & I'm vaccinated. I'm clean, dependable, active, a non-smoker, & not a big drinker.
I'm a big animal fan, & I've looked after dogs, cats, & birds, as well as horses, sheep, & cows. I have experience with garden care & pool maintenance. I work from home, so I can consistently keep your pets company & maintain a presence & close eye on your residence. I work online, so if you have wi-fi, I'm happy.
I understand the importance of sticking to your pet's normal routine to minimise any stress they may feel in your absence. I provide updates & photos regularly while you are away, so you can relax & enjoy your travels without any worries. When arriving home, there should be a complete expectation of finding everything in the same condition as you left it. Therefore, I respect your home & possessions & treat them as if they were my own.
I welcome a chat on the phone &/or a possible meet & greet prior to committing to a sit, so both parties are happy & comfortable.

This was the first time I have used this service so naturally I was a touch nervous leaving my little doggie Sam with a stranger.
He put my mind at ease and was fantastic! Sam loved him too and even slept in Bens bed with him. Photos were sent everyday with an update on how Sam was going. I will definitely use Ben again.
Ben is very experienced in house/pet sitting. His communication was excellent. We loved receiving pictures of our dog who looked very happy and healthy. Her behaviour towards Ben when we returned home, verified our opinion that she was being well looked after. The house etc was clean and tidy and Ben ensured milk was available for that all important tea/coffee after a long flight home. We highly recommend Ben to house/pet sit and will definitely ask him in the future.
I would highly recommend Ben to anyone that requires house sitting / dog sitting in the future . Ben left the house immaculate and had washed the sheets and towels that he used. As a first-time user of this site and having anyone besides family look after our dogs and house, Ben quickly put our minds at ease. This was our first experience using a petsitter. We got to meet Ben before the sit as he was sitting in our local area. Willow our Staffy liked him immediately so this put us at ease. Ben sent us photos every few days. When we returned, Willow was happy to see us but not bothered at all. Our home smelled beautiful and was lovely and clean. Ben receives 5 star reviews for a reason and happy to recommend him to others. We will book Ben for our next adventure.
Ben did a great job looking after Ringo, our 13 yr old golden retriever. Ringo loved him. He sent us photos and updates while we were away. The house was clean and tidy and would highly recommend Ben.

Thanks Ben for taking great care of my home and Tinkerbell. All communication with Ben was easy and responsive. Tink seemed to take to Ben very easily on first meeting, and she looked happy & relaxed upon my return. Ben was a great housesitter and we'd happily have him sit again. He was easy to communicate with, and sent us updates while we were away. Ben has actually done two sits for us. When he returned for the second sit the dogs gave him a huge welcome- clearly they were happy to see him again. The house was exactly as we had left it both times- quite an accomplishment considering the weather and two very furry dogs. We would be very happy for Ben to sit for us in the future.

It was a real comfort to know Ben was looking after our dog in her own home environment. Ben endured several weeks of the worst wet season and attended to any problems as they arose - a comfort when you're not home.
We got a couple of photos of our dog, although a few of the house/flood situation may have been nice too. Our dog seemed happy to be with him.

Ben has just looked after my Maremma sheep dog Rhu, my moggie cat Theo, and my little beachside house for a week. Both Rhu and Theo were very well cared for and healthy and happy on my return. Ben has taken very good care of our dog Kaya & cat Bagheera while we were away. He made it easy for us to trust him and sent us regularly photos.

Ben competently looked after our home and animals. Our dogs and chooks looked great when we returned after 5 weeks. He walked our 2 border collies regularly and found a trick to help us with one of our dogs who pulls on the lead! Ben was the perfect house sitter. My cat Chomps was well looked after. Ben was really friendly, he made a great impression on my 5 year old boy and I was very happy to have him stay. When I came home, the house was perfectly clean (he even cleaned and hung out his sheets).

We were happy with Ben sitting our dogs and minding the house while we were away for 3 weeks in November. We regularly received photos and updates of the dogs and reports when storms came through. We came back to a clean house ,sheets washed and our dogs were happy. I would recommend Ben to house sit and would have him again if he was available .
Could not have asked for a better first time pet sitter than Ben. Ben communicated regularly leading up to the house sit and throughout and left our house in a better condition than we left it - it was immaculate! Which is no easy task with a 7 month old puppy. It's always daunting to leave your home and treasured pet in the care of a stranger but we need not have worried. Ben took wonderful care of our home and my little Lulu. We could not get internet much of the time but when we did, Ben would send photos of Lulu at the beach having fun. The house was left neat and tidy and sheets washed. Ben was excellent. He was very caring and attentive to our dog Leo and gave him some great experiences such as weekly trips to the beach and regular outings to the local dog park. As he works from home, he spent a lot of time with Leo and we are sure that Leo is missing him now that things are back to normal! Ben did a great job looking after our pets. He happily took Nyssha my dog to the beach for walks and quickly learnt how to cope with her little quirks. He wasn't phased by the cat trying to help him with his computer work. Both pets are now missing him. The house was very tidy and clean when we returned- better than when we left. Ben was great, we felt very comfortable leaving him with dog&house while we were overseas. Our dog was super comfortable around him from the very beginning and Ben sent us updates / pictures during the stay.

Ben was brilliant with this house sit and care of our dog. From the moment of his arrival at our home to "take the reins', we knew we had the right bloke. Calm, competent and able to easily manage a one acre property, Ben was an answer to our prayers. While away overseas, Ben posted either a photo or short video of the dog, giving us peace of mind. Ben and Sandy were such wonderful house sitters. They are easy to talk to and we got along very well. They looked after our 4 dogs so well I don't think they wanted them to leave. Ben and Sandy looked after our Irish Setter and the house while we were away on holiday. The house was lovely and clean when we got home and they took exceptionally good care of our dog Flynn. It was obvious that he had enjoyed their company and they went the extra mile to look after him. We would have them at our house any time.

Ben & Sandy were awesome sitters who provided quality care to our fur babies whilst we were away. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any pet sitting job. They even did additional jobs (that clearly needed doing eg. Raking leaves) whilst we were away and the dishes when we shared a meal. Prior to leaving they washed all linens and left their space cleaner than then when they arrived!

Ben & Sandy are delightful & energetic. They took such good care of our two puppies Oscar & Nami, so much that when we arrived home once Oscar & Nami got over their excitement to see us, they settled back into rhythm with us quickly. Ben and Sandy came to house sit and look after our pooch Louis for a 4 day period. Ben and Sandy were easy to communicate with prior to the sit, which made arranging everything a breeze.
