We are a Scottish couple, Cheryl and Angus, who have lived in Tasmania for 35years. We retired three years ago. I was a Home Economics teacher who was able to pass on my passion for food and cooking skills to young people. Angus was trained in Marine Biology in Edinburgh, where we met. His fish farming expertise and Australian birth place brought us to Tasmania with your young son and daughter. We love to travel in our very small caravan and completed a three month trip through eastern Australia in winter 2022. We have always had a cat, the current one being Hector. He is being fostered by friends while we were pet/house-sitting in the UK, returning to Australia in May 2024 and travelling down the east coast before returning to Tasmania in August. We have used AussieHousesitters many times to have him cared for. We have completed 19 cat/house sits in UK using the TrustedHouseSitters.com website, which has earned us consistent 5 star reviews. My hobbies involve travel, eating with friends, meeting new people, socialising, swimming, riding our electric bikes, singing in a choir, enjoying our home and tending our large garden. Angus enjoys anything to do with planes and flight (flying a small Cessna till recently), home renovations (slow but perfection), socialising, bike riding, photography and caravanning.
