We are two very passionate and experienced animal enthusiasts from the UK living in Australia on our first working holiday visa.

During our time in Australia we have been lucky enough to house sit for 6 families so far, ranging from a couple days to over 5 weeks. All of which have been highly impressed with our attention to detail and passion when it comes to taking care of their homes and importantly their pets as if they were our own.

We are both extremely passionate and admittedly slightly obsessed with all kinds of animals. We have experience with all sorts of dogs ranging from German Shepherds and Labradors to Dachshunds and Pomeranians and everything in-between.

I (Joe) have a degree in Zoology and have been lucky enough to look after a vast array of over 60 species of animal since i was a child including tarantulas, tropical shrimp and one particularly angry goose. I enjoy cooking, gardening and fishing.

My partner Nikola who studied Geography shares my interests in the natural world (except maybe the spiders :) and has been referred to as a true dog whisperer during our time working at a very canine friendly restaurant and bar. She spends her free time reading, hiking and surfing.

We both have strong experience with farm work, gardening and general DIY so rest assured your home and garden will be kept in tip top condition.

Joe and Nikola took wonderful care of our home and pets for the 5 weeks we were away. The house was immaculate when we returned, and the animals had been loved and cared for. They are both very friendly and easy to talk to! Great updates while we were away, plus very friendly communication through the whole process. A+ house sitters. Highly recommended! Joe & Nikola were wonderful looking after our dogs and house while we are away. They were easy to coordinate plans with, turned up on time and communicated great while we were away. We left them in the safe hand of our house and only needed to communicate as needed (which was great so we could relax and enjoy our holiday!) How lucky were we our first time on house sitters and Joe and Nikola promptly replied to our request. They were more than happy to come round for a couple of meet and greets to reassure Billy they would take great care of him. We think they are an extremely lovely couple and we feel lucky we secured their sit. The house and garden were also looked after well and the bond they made with Billy was amazing.. highly recommended Joe and Nikola for house and pet sitting

Nikola and Joe are amazing house sitters. They were so good with looking after our 5 year old lab Milo. They took him for regular walks every day and kept up his usual routine. He was even spoilt with puppycinos. We had real peace of mind whilst we were away. They are excellent communicators. We were overseas for 7 weeks and we WhatsApped with them a couple of times a week. Joe & Nikola cared for Daizy my dog and my home whilst I was away for 10 days. Communication was good with a few photos whilst I was away I returned to a tidy house and happy dog. Was grateful sheets were stripped and in the machine. Would recommend this nice young couple.
 
ANDREA (Coombabah QLD, Apr 2024 - 1 week 3 nights)
Joe and Nikola stayed at our place for 5 weeks caring for 3 quirky greyhounds and keeping our wild garden under control. They measured and recorded our rainfall, as requested. We came home to 3 very relaxed, healthy and happy hounds. The house was spotless and in good order. A fresh bunch of flowers adorned the dining table. This couple were responsible and reliable, asking questions about the dogs' care if unsure. Highly recommend them and we hope to have them back later in the year.

Joe and Nikola looked after our house on short notice for a week and were fantastic sitters. They looked after our animals and our home wonderfully well and were friendly and most importantly flexible! Our flight was cancelled and they were super lovely in agreeing to staying longer than initially agreed in order to help us out. Got home to happy and healthy animals, the indoor plants were all thriving and the house was clean and tidy. Thanks guys! Would highly recommend :)
