After cycling and housesitting in New Zealand for a couple of months, I am now in Australia, looking forward to some more cycling, but mainly housesitting! I lived in Australia in 2010/ 2011 so it is very exciting for me to be back!

I like the overall idea of housesitting: that I can help someone out while being able to get a glimpse of local life in a certain region. I think it is a beautiful arrangement that both parties benefit from!

I am from Germany, 37 years old and way beyond the point in my life where I am chasing parties or nonstopp-entertainment. I don't smoke, I am vegetarian and a very mindful person. I am super reliable - once I commit to a housesit, you can count on me 100 percent! I will take very good care of your property and your pets! I will do my best to provide the care and attention each animal deserves! I am aware of the responsibility that comes with looking after someone's beloved home and pet(s) and the trust that's being directed at me makes me want to do an even better job at taking good care of everything!

I am flexible time-wise, I can adapt to your housesitting dates and I am happy to show up before the actual housesit starts so that you can introduce me to the place and the duties.

Elke did an amazing job of taking care of my little cat Cinnamon, as well as caring for my apartment and plants. My cat said she loved her :) and was very happy and content when I got home. Elke kept me updated on Cinnamon and everything else going on for over 3 weeks while I was away in Nepal. It was reassuring to know such a lovely and responsible person was caring for my cat and my home while I was away. I can only highly recommend Elke for anybody looking for a responsible house/pet ... She kept communication with us daily, sent us photos and detailed report of our pet's routine and gave him love and the attention.
