Diana & John

We are a retired registered nurse and naval officer hoping to find a house sit in the Nambour area from mid-October 2024 to mid-December 2024 approximately.

In the past we have done a number of house-sits with and without pets. We have looked after a golden retriever (4 weeks), staffy (2 weeks), norfolk terrier (1 week in UK), labrador and fish (2 weeks), indoor cat (10 days), 2 small parrots (2 weeks, 2 weeks and 4 weeks), a Jack Russell (11 days), a Burman cat and 6 chooks on 12 acres (3 months), and 2 cavoodles and a calico cat on 10 acres (3 weeks). We sometimes look after a neighbour's Burmese cat when she is away on holiday. A recent thank-you from a pet owner read "Thank you for taking such nice care of Missy (the cat) and the house. It has never looked better."

We often use Air BnB and have always received good reviews for keeping properties clean and tidy. A recent review from an Air BnB owner read "It was a pleasure to host Di & John. Great to communicate with and left the house spotless. Highly recommended."

The owner of a holiday house that we regularly use comments "I have always found Diana and John to be reliable, sensible and calm tenants who respect my property and leave it in a clean and tidy state. I happily recommend them to any prospective home owner."

We will care for your house and animals well. We are non-smokers. We like walking, the beach, bird watching, gardening, and of course travelling. On the Sunshine Coast we like to look for whales and turtles at the beach, platypus in the creeks and birds that we don't see at home.
