We are a fit retired couple living in the Cotswolds UK. We love to travel and experience new places. We now have had seven Housesitting experiences in Australia and five glowing references on this site (a couple with Trusted Housesitters). We love animals and Helen is very good with animal care, medications etc. We are very careful and respect other peoples homes and very capable at looking after gardens. I have very practical skills I restore classic cars as a hobby so can operate and maintain machinery, mowers, water pumps etc etc all of which were needed on the farm we looked after in Tamworth.

We always leave the homes we sit and the cars we borrow in as good or better condition than we find them, a new pair of eyes and practical ability lends itself to fixing and renovating things if we have the time.

We have friends in senior positions with companies in Sydney (and a daughter and granddaughter in Hawkesbury who can vouch for us in addition to the 8 home owners (7 in Oz 1 in Spain) we have sat for, (a couple on a different sit platform) all have 100% recommendations, please ask for details.

We are now looking for a sit or sits to cover the period from 1st January 2025 to 31st March 2025 but we could be flexible for the right sit so just drop us a note. We prefer sits over a month.

You could not get better house & pet sitters. Amazing communication in the lead up to the stay, asked all the right questions (evidence of their house-sitting experience) which made us feel so at ease heading off on our holiday. Our 2 dogs were so well looked after & Charles voluntarily attended to some DIY things around the house; our house looked better when we got back than when we left. Charles and Helen were lovely sitters with great communication before and during the sit. We came home to a beautiful clean house, and happy and contented Cavaliers. Charles had repaired our car doors and given the old girl a very professional polish up such that friends thought we had a new car! No rating Charles & Helen were amazing! They obviously looked after our apartment and our lovely greyhound Ruby. We came home to a spotlessly clean apartment with clean sheets and a freshly made bed. Ruby had been well cared for (we found they left over treats in the pantry lol) and was very happy. We have offered our next sitting opportunity to them and hope they accept. We strongly recommend Charles & Helen to anyone looking for amazing house sitters.

When we returned we found our home, gardens and animals all in good shape and had been looked after as we liked.
