After retiring at the end of 2020, we packed up our home of 38 years into a shipping container, rented it out and the plan was to head off to explore this beautiful country, but there was delay with our van and car…so we decided to house sit.

We returned home to Brisbane early 2023, put our home on the market and are now building a home up the Sunshine Coast.

I (Linda) was a banker and teacher before retiring, and Evan was a banker and computer systems administrator.

If we've applied to house sit and look after your fur babies....please know we will look after your home and pets like they are our own.

Linda and her husband Evan were simply extraordinary. They cared for our two dogs in exactly the same way we would normally do so ourselves. They gave them lots of love and attention and reacted quickly when veterinary services were required. Everything they did for us while we were away for 3 months overseas, went far beyond our expectations. Wow! As soon as we met Linda & Evan, we knew our home and pets would be in safe hands… and we were right.!!! Both professional and loving. We could see that all our animals had been well cared for upon our return. (Even though some of them put them to the test 😅) Our home was clean & tidy with even a wonderful dinner all organised and ready to cook that night we when got home 🤗! They are very professional in their conduct. Meeting with us before the sit and keeping in contact with emails and photos while we were away. I would have no problem recommending them to other people and would definitely use them again.

Linda and Evan were wonderful housitters. They treated the house as their own (as we would expect) attending to things that needed to be done and left us a whole heap of goodies in the fridge and pantry, which we really didn't expect. They were also wonderful dog-sitters and our Labrador Ava has demanded that they return for another stint in a few weeks.

Linda and Evan bonded very quickly with Ebonee, our rescue toy poodle. She is very timid, a little elderly and very nervous of both people, especially men, and other dogs; however, she quickly felt at ease with Linda and Evan and they gave her lots of love and attention. They took her to the vet when she was a little sick and anxious, and also took her for a tidy up just before we returned. Linda and Evan went above and beyond. They cared for our large Labradoodle Jerry so well, I think he was ready to go home with them. Our home and yard also was maintained above our expectations. What a delight it was having Linda and Evan to house and pet sit for us. Our 2 border collies had the best time ever getting outings and walks every day and loving it. Linda and Evan clearly have a genuine love of animals, and cared for ours magnificently.
