Chris & Mark

We are a recently retired couple, Mark is Aussie and Chris Canadian. Our two adult children have been living in various parts of Australia for the past 5 years or so, developing their careers,

We live in Vancouver, Canada. Having retired last year, we're spending six months in Australia each year (around early December up until late May).

We both grew up with lots of pets, and had them while our kids were growing at home as well. We are known in our neighborhood as favourite uncle and aunt to friends' pets and have taken care of many for short and longer terms, when needed.

We became certified Guide Dog trainers in 2019 and for 3 years attended weekly classes and successfully raised and trained a lab/retriever cross, who was a breeder for 2 years and is now working within a high school with special needs students. (we are very proud!)

Over the past few years we have house/ pet sat for many people, in various types of homes and love the adventure of experiencing new neighbourhoods as a local. References are available.

We have also had friends house sit our home and pets over the years.

Mark is handy and Chris is happy in the garden. We are both avid outdoors people and spend most of our free time camping, hiking, biking and kayaking.
