Hello! We’re a relaxed and happy married couple in our early 30s. Gonçalo is Portuguese and works in robotics, Catherine is Australian, a former paramedic turned English tutor. We’ve been living in Gonçalo's beautiful hometown of Sintra, Portugal for the past few years, and, at the beginning of November 2023, we’re excited to be moving back to Australia! We both love all kinds of animals and we dream about one day living in a little home on a few acres of land where we can live a quiet life with some friendly farm pets. We’ve both house- and pet-sat for family and friends in the past, and we have lots of glowing Airbnb reviews we can share with you. We’ll take good care of your garden as well - we’re so proud of the thriving little garden we have on our balcony here in Portugal! We’re both non-smokers who enjoy being outdoors and hiking, kayaking, or just enjoying a coffee in the sunshine. We’re looking forward to exploring some new places when we arrive in Australia before we settle back down at home in Central Victoria ☀

I can highly recommend Catherine and Gonsalo. They were consistently in communication with us which I valued greatly. They were happy to take on all the tasks involved in running a large property and were fabulous with the animals - dogs, chickens and horses, willing to learn how to manage and handle everything. The house was spotlessly clean and my large garden and pot plants watered and looked after. They are a quiet, considerate young couple who I would be very happy to have the house sit ... MORE
