HI, we're Andrew and Erika, a recently retired couple with grown up kids, one at home and one at Uni up in Townsville.

We're both tidy and non-smokers and although we don't currently have any pets, we both love animals and have had dogs and cats over the years. We currently have a small flock of backyard poultry, a vegie garden and small orchard that our son cares for when we're away.

As active members of our local Surf Lifesaving Club, we both have current Victorian Working With Children Checks, as issued by Vic Police and the Justice Department.

Although he finished his working life as manager of the Scientific Computing capability at a large research institute, Andrew has a rural background and worked in animal houses and field research earlier in his career. As a result, he is experienced with tractors, 4WD vehicles and most small agricultural and power gardening equipment and both are comfortable around farm animals. Andrew has worked as a team member voulnteering with BlazeAid, rebuilding farm fences after bushfires.

We both enjoy gardening, with Andrew more focussed on the vegies, while Erika is in charge of the ornamentals.

Hobbies apart from gardening, cooking and travel are fishing, boating, photography, geocaching and exploring in our 4WD. So we love staying in different places where there's new things to see and photograph and new Geocaches to find.

As well as volunteering with the Surf Lifesaving Club, we're also active volunteers with BlazeAid, rebuilding farmer's fences after fire and have spent a year with Feedme Surfcoast, rescuing food from Supermarkets to redistribute to those in difficulty and need.

We're experienced sitters who would love to take care of your home, garden and animals !

Andrew really stepped up to the plate and went above & beyond. We had not recovered from the flood event and had not got to the point of having the house ready to hand over (which was a bit embarasing) but Andrew pitched in and helped out. Not only that he was our go-to person dealing with insurance assessors for our mould claim. His calm mature nature gave us a lot of confidence as we were in Sydney for a medical reason. We would have Andrew back again any day.

When Adrew responded to our request for a house sitter we were very pleased because he had previously sat for us and was excellent. This time not only did he look after our dog, my racing pigeons, Cheryl's garden he also took in our friend Bill's dog when he went on holidays (as that is what we would do) Andrew was very obliging and got on well with our neighbours also. If the planets align again we would have no hesitation in having Andrew back again.

Second time Andrew has looked after our house. He looks after the house, yard and pool extremely well and the cat loves him. He is very easy going and fits in with our not always precise dates. Would not hesitate to book him again. Thanks Andrew.

Andrew was excellent. Great communication and took care of everything so we had no worries. Our very shy cat loved him and wouldn't come out to see us when we got home! Would definitely use Andrew again and recommend him to others. Thanks again Andrew.

Andrew and Erika were fabulous. They were like family good family that is. My boys adored them. They coped well with the emergency of Jesse licking cane toad. Communication was excellent House and garden well looked after. They are very likeable and I would welcome them back with joy at any time

Andrew and Erika were the perfect house sitters. Excellent and open communication from the beginning and flexibility around changing dates due to COVID. Andrew and Erika sent pictures and updates of our puppies who loved their company and were very spoilt during their stay! Loved coming home to a lovely clean and tidy home, happy animals and a cared for lawn. 100% would recommend and will have again!

Andrew & Erica are lovely people and excellent house sitters. They looked after our house and most importantly our staffy Bosun, for just over a week. The house was cleaner than I left it and our beloved boy was looked after, walked and loved. Andrew also took some fantastic photos of Bosun playing on the beach. We would happily have them house/pet sit again in the future.

Andrew and Erika were amazing! It was our first house sit so we were a little nervous but they put us completely at ease when we met them and how they interacted with our animals. They sent us little updates and photos each day and were very thorough in their communication to us. We came home to animals that had been very well loved and cared for, along with a clean and tidy home! Definitely be using them again for other holidays!

Andrew and Erika were amazing. They left the house as they found it. The animals just loved them and clearly they loved the animals too. Everyone was well fed and cared for. Erika took it upon herself to rake up all the leaves that fell while we were away creating a massive pile! We were very grateful. We invited them to stay the night of our return which they did so we all enjoyed dinner together. Highly recommend!

No rating We cannot recommend Andrew and Erica highly enough. They looked after our home and large dogs for nearly three weeks. They did a fantastic job with our furbabies and the house was absolutely spotless upon our return. We don"t have the easiest dogs to look after and one needed medication administered daily, which i can tell was done diligently, and both our dogs were very sad to see them go.
