Hi, I'm Aldia. I'm a 42 year old, non-smoking, clean and tidy female who just so happens to love animals. In my previous life, I worked as a registered nurse with a cute little apartment in South Yarra Melbourne to boot. After way too many years of shift work I finally traded it all in to commence work as a freelance writer. Just in case the highly likely event of my books earning peanuts should occur, I recently obtained my yoga teaching certification.

As a house-sitter, I'm very boring (in a good way). I'm quiet, clean and as I work from home, I'm around during the day for all of your pets needs. Also, as a little added bonus, it just so happens that I've house sat quite a few animals in the past on a different site. Please contact me for the link.

One more thing to note, I do have a relatively up-to-date police check, if that helps calm the mind. Oh, and I can also weed and water flowers and foliage with the best of them!!!!!

We felt so fortunate that Alida responded to our request for a sitter. Alida let Elle settle in with her and Teo at a comfortable pace and then it was love and cuddles. We couldn’t believe some of the photos were she was so settled so quickly. . When we arrived home Elle and Teo who is just a pup were playing well. Alida was communicative and quick to get back to us, and was very flexible with a pre-sit visit. She was also flexible when we were a little unsure of our travel dates and we were very grateful for that. I was lucky to find Alida because the original time frame for the sit extended from 1 month to almost 6 months, due to Covid. Luckily she was extremely flexible and was able to extend, even with indefinite return dates.
