We are a family from the Yorke Peninsula in SA, who before settling down lived on the road full time for a year while travelling around Australia.
There is Paul, myself, and our 2 boys 17 and 29. We are non-smokers, social drinkers, and take pride in being honest and reliable.
We are all animal lovers.... so what a fantastic way to combine travel and animals by offering to house sit!
We do have a caravan, so can be fully self contained, and more than happy to use that for our accommodation if you would prefer.
Travelling and showing our boys the country we live in was an amazing experience.... meeting new people, enjoying new experiences, learning about other cultures and we look forward to that journey continuing.
Paul is an experienced farmhand. He has worked in a shearing shed, wool sorting, fencing, weed control, sheep management, as well as various other roles. Mr 28 has also helped out in some areas, mostly with sheep work.... so we are happy to take on farm sits.
We also have experience with domestic animals having had a range of pets, volunteered with Fauna Rescue SA, and also Labs n Life who train labradors as assistance dogs. We also have a 4 year old labrador. Depending on your requirements, we can bring our dog or have him looked after at home.
Looking forward to chatting more

***As we haven't yet done a house sit on this site, but we do have sitter references, as well as both personal and professional references available. Also police clearances and we have a DCSI for working with children clearance.
Review on HelpX from a host .....
"One of the first concerns a host may have about helpers with dogs is whether they will bother the livestock, or drive you crazy with incessant barking and leg-lifting. No such trouble here, for Finn and Char proved to be the most benign well-behaved canines imaginable, getting on well with each other and our animals.
What about a young lad? Will he be full of mischief and danger, clambering where he ought not? No, Mr 10 proved to be a pleasant, compliant boy indeed!
Mr 22 was a good communicator, yet purposeful, and a consistent helper.
Bronny, just as shown in her photo, is a most delightful person to have about. She combines her role of mothering and helping in a most cheerful and sensible manner.
If there ever was a man who underestimated himself it must be Paul. "I'm not a mechanic", he declares and then proceeds to bring a dead piece of machinery to life. Methodical, careful, reliable and thorough, Paul, with his farming background, is a great help.
This family are particularly close knit and loving. They are self-sufficient, yet open and interacting. Any one who hosts them would be very blessed indeed."
