We are a retired couple, both having long careers in the same job. Gordy (nickname for Greg) worked at Queensland Nickel for 42 years and Annie worked at Qantas in Townsville for 30 years.

The profile name 77GAS stands for and reflects the year we were married and our respective initials. We have 2 children and 3 beautiful grandsons.

We own our house in Townsville and have lived in the same much loved house for 42 years. After we retired we decided to rent the house out (to family) for a couple of years and we are ready to explore Australia. Gordy loves the garden and in fact, loves tinkering in general.

Both of us are non smokers and extremely house and yard proud. Of course we are very mindful of privacy and respect for someone else's property.

We have always had a pet - dog, until a few years ago. Thankfully we have friends who lend us their dogs to dogsit when they are away. They think we are doing them a favour, but actually we love every minute of it and its them doing us the favour.

We are new at house sitting, but rest assured, we would be extremely good, not to mention trustworthy and reliable.

No rating Loved having Gordy and Annie as house sitter. Our house ,pets and extensive plants were well cared for. We went away on holidays with no concerns. I would recommend Gordy and Annie to anyone who is looking at having a holiday. Would have them back again any day. Thanks.

Gordy and Annie were wonderful sitters. They cared for our home and garden perfectly .Their loving care of our two little dogs was fantastic allowing us to enjoy our holiday without worry.. Gordy mowed the big lawns perfectly and attended to the aviary and poultry . Highly recommend them as sitters.

Annie and Gordy were great sitters. Looked after our animals and property with care and respect. Easy to communicate with and kept us up to date with what was happening. They had a lovely meal prepared for us when we arrived home late in the evening. They stayed on a couple of days to attend some local activities with us. Wouldn't hesitate to have them back when next we get the urge to head off.
