The Mackeys and fit young retirees who are passionate travellers. We have used house sitters before to care for our beloved cat who is no longer with us, so we understand what being a good house sitter means. Steve is a retired builder and has horticultural qualifications , so your garden and house will be in good hands. Kathy is a retired high school deputy principal who now spends much of her time painting and photographing the urban and not so urban landscape. We will care for your animals, home and garden as if it were our own as we have built and renovated several properties during our working careers. This mean we will send texts and photo updates of your home and pets while you are a way so you can enjoy your holidays.

We were so very lucky to have chosen Kathy & Steve to care for our precious Cav, Home and garden. They were the perfect couple in every way. Kept in touch daily and we came home to a happy dog and spotless home. We can give them 10/10 and hope one day they will return. Kathy & Paul

Kathy and Steve are fabulous! I honestly couldn't rate them any higher. They clearly love animals and I felt my elderly cat was in great hands from day one. They sent me regular updates and let me know it was all going well. And then when I returned, the house and garden were spotless. Steve had even made improvements in the garden and added some more lovely herbs! And Kathy painted me a beautiful picture that I just love. Sorry slow with this review - my fault. Couldn't fault Kathy and Steve - they both did a wonderful job with our timid terrier Millie, and she clearly missed them for days once we returned from our holiday. Really appreciated their efforts to get to know us and reassure us beforehand, so when the stay came around, I wasn't remotely worried or stressed. They just slotted into our life and Millie benefited hugely. We received regular updates via what's app, steve mended things in the house ... MORE

Kathy and Steve are a wonderful couple and truly beautiful people. They were everything that is right about feeling safe and supported when you're having someone house sit for you. Our home was cared for, our animals lovingly looked after and our garden given an amazing tidy up. Communication was super and they were very thoughtful of keeping us informed. Couldn't ask for better house/pet sitters. Kathy and Steve looked after Libby our border collie dog extremely well. She got lots of attention and she can be difficult to walk but they coped really well with her. They also kept our place looking clean and tidy. Kathy and Steve were so easy to communicate with and we felt so comfortable leaving our home in their care. Our dog,Rocky took an instant like to them on first meeting. They took great care of the garden and plants and my vegetable garden is looking great thanks to Steve's work. Highly recommend Kathy and Steve !
