Our home

We (Bella and Alyssa) are looking for a couple or single person to look after our sweet indoor rescue cat Fluff and her high energy kitten partner in crime Bok while we are away.

Fluff loves being brushed, getting pats and playing with her toys, but not being picked up. Bok is more of an energetic lap cat who likes to jump up for hugs and play fetch.

Both kitties play well together and share an automatic litter box in their very own bathroom which only needs swapping out once a week - so barring any emergencies there should be no need to attend to the litter except to swap the tray a few times during the housesit.

We offer a lovely two bedroom apartment in a secure complex with awesome facilities in a fantastic location.

The apartment complex is chilled, quiet and well managed and has a lovely community vibe, with:
- secure undercover parking for one vehicle plenty of street parking for second vehicle).
- in a fantastic location in easy walking distance to all the beachside clubs/botanic gardens/markets/bars/galleries/cultural life of Parap.
- Epic views with stunning sunrises, Fanny Bay sunsets and and the perfect balcony for storm watching

The apartment has:
- A massive balcony
- Lots of natural light and fresh air
- HVAC cooling system for perfect constant temperature
- Ceiling fans in every room
- Windows you can safely leave open all day and night (depending on the season)
- A pool table!

Other facilities include:
- Lovely pool
- Fully equipped gym
- Residents lounge and games room
- A golf putting green
- A barra billabong
- Bird Aviary
- Fruit and Veg communal garden
- 2 delicious on-site cafes
- Unlimited wifi
- At least three subscription streaming services on the TV
- A dedicated in-apartment office if you need space to work

We are looking for a single person or couple who is/are chilled, relaxed, will take great care of our very spoilt kitties and our lovely home.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

We are just on the edge of all the places to eat, drink, play. A short stroll to the city, but tucked away in a nice quiet location with gorgeous views. We are near several of the "must dos" of Darwin including the Parap Markets (Laksa anyone?)

Bok (2) - High energy rascal. Loves fetching, playing, interacting and cuddles. Uses sign language and loves communicating with humans. Loves to be held.

Fluff (4)- Chilled cat who was very traumatised when first found, but is slowly becoming more confident and cattish. Loves (and needs) brushes and pats and can be encouraged to play with the laser beam. Does not get picked up.

Neither are scratchy or aggressive, and they both love to play together.

We are Alyssa (48- Archaeologist) and Bella (47- Director of Mental Health org). We love travelling and are looking for folks to take great care of our lovely cats and and apartment.

We had the absolute best time house sitting for Alyssa and Bella! They are the warmest and most generous people you could meet. Communication was perfect, and any questions we had were answered for us before we even had to ask. The flat itself is just gorgeous, and we really enjoyed all the amenities. There’s a great view of the CBD from the balcony too. But of course, the stars of the show…Bok and Fluff! They are the sweetest, most loving and hilarious cats! We spent so much time playing ... It was such a pleasure taking care of Bok and Fluffy! At first, they needed a little time to get used to me, but then they became super cuddly, very communicative, and trusting. In the mornings, they loved snuggling up in bed with me before breakfast, and in the evenings we enjoyed cozy movie nights together. Alyssa and Bella are truly lovely and sweet people.
