Seeking a retired person / couple, or flexible mature worker, who are looking for a relaxing rural stay, to live in my home and care for my older gentle Kelpie x Border Collie girl, well behaved Kelpie x Koolie boy and low maintenance horses.

My home is on a small property located in a picturesque rural valley in Mirboo, South Gippsland, 15 minutes drive to the local town of Mirboo North and close to many natural attractions and great for rural / bush walking, native animal (koala, kangaroo) spotting and in particular bird watching.
My home is very comfortable, low maintenace and open plan with large north facing windows and deck terrace area., all with stunning views of the surrounding valley and countryside.

My lovely well behaved dogs are Polly an elderly BC x Kelpie and Blue a Kelpie c Koolie who loves a walk.
The 2 ponies will be self sufficient with hay and grass, and would just need checking daily.

Polly has one Tumeric capsule broken open over her dinner.

Average - My lovely small low maintenance garden will need minimal attention in Spring, There is a small lawn that may need mowing. Most of the 3 acre property is fenced into 3 paddocks.

Looking after Heathers home and animals was a breeze. Her lovely open plan home is in a stunning location in the rolling Hills of the Strezlecki ranges in south Gippsland, We were very comfortable in her neat and tidy home with all mod cons. Heather is a very warm and caring lady, making us feel welcome and at ease the moment we entered her lovely home. Communications before and during the sit were both prompt and reassuring. Arriving the night before and sharing a social meal led to a smooth transition into the routine of Polly & Blue. It was a joy sitting for Heather. Blue and Polly would be the best behaved pets we’ve ever sat. Not only that, they are totally adorable 🥰 . Her home is just beautiful and she is very welcoming. Heather’s instructions were really clear which makes them easy to follow. Such a pretty part of Australia, would go back in a heartbeat if we were in VIC again.
Heather left great detailed instructions and emergency contact. We thoroughly enjoyed our 'escape to the country'. Pollie the kelpie was very gentle and affectionate, well trained,just loved her. The two horses enjoyed carrots and were very easy going and friendly. Communication was clear, happy and made us feel at home. Fantastic 13 days with great views and fantastic animals. Thanks for the opportunity.
