Hi there!
We are looking for a house and dog sitter to stay in our Torquay home and look after our 3 year old groodle Ziggy, from 16 September to 6th October while my family and I are away. We have two queen size beds, a single bed and a fold out couch if needed so room a single, couple or family of 4 or 5.

Ziggy is loveable, friendly and very active. When at home, she is mainly an inside dog but spends some time in the backyard. She loves nothing more than to chase after a ball at the beach or park, and is good with kids and other dogs. She is at her best when exercised with a beach or park run.
Being a puppy at heart, she can chew things so you’ll need to lock away your best shoes!

Our home is a 4 bedroom low maintenance home in Torquay, about 1.5km from whites beach (dog off lead area) and walking distance to the north Torquay Woolworths. We have a good coffee machine, cargo bike (electric), bikes and surfboard plus a SUP that you are welcome to use.
We’ve got a few indoor plants, and a growing native garden in the front and back, all low maintenance. We also have an indoor woodfire if it’s cold. It’s a pretty relaxing house, and we’d love to have more of a chat if you are interested! We are only looking for sitters verified by ID check, sorry.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

Proximity to the beach - whites beach is around 1.5km away and fishos is 2.5km away. Surf beach is 5km away. Lots of footy ovals and playgrounds nearby, along with local shops. The main Torquay strip is around 5km away but an easy bike ride.

Ziggy is a medium sized 3 year old groodle, who is energetic, loves big beach walks and spending time with people. She’s great with kids, and will sleep on the bed if you let her.
