Our home

Our home is among 10 ha of luscious bush. It is quiet and the perfect retreat. We have NBN internet with fast internet so you can connect to the outside world while enjoying the peace and quiet. Our home is mostly wooden and has a wood cabin vibe. We have fans in the bedrooms and living rooms to keep you cool.

The nearest supermarkets are in Kempsey which is a 15 minute drive. Beaches at Crescent Head are a 25 minute drive. We recommend that people who apply have access to their own car. ... Our dog Charlie is a cattle dog X staffy. She loves and walk down to the middle of the property to have a swim. She is relaxed, and easy to care for.

We love the peaceful space and the lush green surroundings of the property. There are many bird around as we head into spring. We love the korogoro bush walk at Hat Head or going to a coffee shop in crescent head.

Charlie is a four year old staffy X cattle dog who is easy going.
She needs to be feed her twice a day and would love it if you throw the ball for her or go for a walk to the dam at the back of the property.
She is not allowed in bedrooms or on the couch, so we prefer someone who can continue with these boundaries.

I am a registered nurse and my husband is a wardsperson. We both work at Kempsey Hospital. We love our community, but we also love to go away and spend time in our camper van.

The last one kilometre is a dirt road. Easily accessed by a 2WD, but watch for pot holes.

We really loved our time at Montana’s beautiful bush home! Charlie was adorable and her training is a credit to Montana & Israel. She is a beautifully behaved dog and loved going for walks & having a throw of the ball. Montana’s communication was excellent both during and before our visit and she left easy to follow instructions. We were very comfortable in our section of the house and couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was a pleasure to care for the house and Charlie!

Charlie is the goodest of pooches. Sooo smart and, thanks to Montana and Israel’s fabulous training, she is great with commands, receptive to new carer’s instructions and just so loving. With an infinite capacity for hugs and ball games. A very special animal that I miss already. Montana and Israel’s home is gorgeously placed. All mod cons yet nestled in bush with kookaburras galore and so many wonderful butterflies. And they were just such a welcoming couple who made my stay worry free and ... Thanks to Montana and Israel, both super easy going, lovely and great on communication. Charlie is actually a dream, a wonderful creature who likes to be around you and also run happily around the bounds. This was a beautiful and chill environment. There is a lot of space to unwind and look out into the trees, birds and the occasional roo. Cosy, clean and organised house. We had a great stay. Can't go wrong.
Taking care of Charlie was such a great experience. Montana is super chill and loving, and communicating with her was super easy. Once we arrived, she reviewed all the information about Charlie and the house. Charlie is a really loving dog, she loves the company and cuddles and has a lot of energy to play. There is a pond close by where she loves to swim and play. The house is a Pinterest-style farmhouse, it was like a retreat and a great plan just being there. Montana left us mountain ...
