Our home

We live in a comfortable, modern family home in Thirroul, around a 10-minute walk from the beach, train station and the centre of town, so it’s really easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

The house is spacious and relaxed, with a well-equipped kitchen if you enjoy cooking, a coffee machine for your morning caffeine fix, and plenty of space to settle in and feel at home. You’ll have our guest bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed.

We also have a pool, although it’s currently switched off for winter! Thirroul itself has great cafés, restaurants, shops and beautiful coastal walks all within easy reach.

We love Thirroul for its relaxed coastal feel – beautiful beaches, ocean pools and escarpment walks, alongside great cafés, restaurants, pubs and independent shops. Everything is within an easy walk, and the train makes exploring the coast or heading into Sydney easy.

Our pets

Our dog, Hugo, is a nearly 7-year-old bundle of love and very much part of our family. He’s a rescue who came to us as a puppy, and we think he’s a Staffy/Labrador/Beagle mix. He’s incredibly friendly with people, kids and other dogs, loves a cuddle on the couch, and is happiest just being around his humans.

Hugo is relatively easy to look after - as long as he has some company and a good walk each day, he’s a happy boy! He had quite bad separation anxiety as a puppy, and he’s used to having someone working from home during the week. He’s now perfectly happy being left at home for periods of time, so you certainly don’t need to be with him 24/7, but he wouldn’t be suited to someone who would be out of the house all day, every day.

If you work remotely, our home is well set up for it, and we have a good, reliable internet connection - with Hugo very happy to keep you company while you work.

What an absolute treat! Our second opportunity to assist Rhianna and Jon at their well presented beachy Thirroul home with Hugo, perhaps the most entertaining, well-behaved, and lovable doggo ever. Lucky us! Highly recommend this easy care, spotless modern home with pool, patios, and peaceful coastal parklands locale. Hit the surf for a morning swim, cycle the coastal bike pathway, hike the stunning escarpment, or join happy Hugo in a walk to the local street cafes. Clear instructions cheat ... What an awesome sit! If you're seeking a peaceful, coastal contemporary setting with an easy-care doggo that beams, let's have fun together, let's hit the beach, let me take you to my fave hip cafe, then don't miss this one! Add in excellent and welcoming communication and a spotless, low maintenance home, then it's hard to go past caring for Rhianna and Jon's beaut home in the beachy, parklands side of Thirroul.
