Kuchum (5yo): A medium-sized kelpie-ish cross with a sweet temperament and excellent recall. Walks beautifully on lead, twice a day, and eats like a champ.

Zima (13yo): A sprightly Japanese Spitz who still keeps up with Kuchum on the trails. She may skip a meal here and there — we don’t take it personally.

Misty (9yo): A fluffy indoor cat who politely asks to go out when needed (we don’t keep a litter tray). Sleeps most of the day, eats 2–3 times, and loves a gentle cuddle or sneak-up-on-your-legs moment.

Pixel (7yo): A Russian Blue who does his own thing outdoors and checks in for meals twice a day — no drama, no fuss.

The Chooks (5 of them): On auto-feed. You just need to glance at them each morning to make sure no one has gone rogue. Collect and eat the eggs!

All our pets get along well, are healthy, toilet-trained (just let them out when they ask), and are delightfully low-maintenance — no divas in this household.
