Our home

Our house is a single bedroom studio with a small deck, one street back from Fairy Bower in Manly. The studio has been built above an old duplex, access is down the property's side-lane.

We are looking for a sitter or couple to take care of our dog Shiloh and cat Poet while we’re away for 3 nights.

Shi is a 5yr old Catahoula-cross. She is sensitive and reactive to other dogs, and she loves cuddles. She needs a 1 hour walk a day on-lead.

Poet needs to be fed twice a day and remain inside.

We are looking for someone respectful who has experience with reactive dogs, and has references from prior sits.

Shiloh and Poet were both absolutely adorable! Poet was quite shy at the beginning but really came out of his shell and gave us lots of cuddles by the end! Shiloh was just the sweetest dog ever, she was so affectionate with us and was always so excited for her walks! The house was gorgeous and in such a perfect location, there are so many nice parks around and it’s so close to the sea. We met Bon before hand which really put us at ease with taking care of Shiloh and Poet. Mon was also amazing ... MoreShiloh and Poet were both absolutely adorable! Caring for Shiloh and Poet was an absolute joy. Shiloh was a pleasure to walk and playful around the house, while Poet took a day or two to come out of his shell — but once he did, he was incredibly affectionate and sweet. The home was comfortable, and set in a beautiful, private location. Everything was well-organised and easy to settle into, and communication with Monique was warm and effortless. We felt very welcome. Thank you so much for having us!
It was a true pleasure for us to look after Shiloh and Poet! Shiloh is just the sweetest girl. She is definitely a very easy dog to look after. She only doesn't do very well with other dogs but as soon as you know it, you adapt your walks in consequence and there is no problem. Poet can be a little bit shy at the beginning but once you broke the ice with him, he is an amazing cat to look after as well :) Monique and Bon's apartment has everything you need and perfectly located a few minutes ...
