Are you someone who loves cats and is familiar with looking after indoors-only pets, and happy to play and spend time with them in addition to feeding/caring for them while I'm away? I'm looking for a responsible person, strictly non-smoking, who would like to stay in a lovely 2 bedroom Art Deco ground floor apartment in a small block. Balaclava / St Kilda East is a very multicultural area, leafy green with local parks and an easy walk to public transport from my place - with plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops within a 10 min walk. The block of 5 apartments is quiet and friendly.

Lulu is a lively 4yr old Burmese who loves to play, and will want cuddles and attention in addition to the usual feeding/caring (litter tray, morning and night feeds, fresh water bowl etc). She loves being brushed, and will fetch and play with toy mouse endlessly - when she’s not snuggled on your lap. Would prefer someone who’s spending time / working from home rather than being out most of the day & night, she’s recently lost her bonded sibling so is a little lonely and looking for company.

Minimal - Inside pot plants unlikely to require much attention, and at this time of year - depending on the weather - maybe the courtyard garden will require some light raking up of leaves (but not essential).

I travel for work and my home is my sanctuary. I like to keep it clean and tidy - not minimalistic! I have an extensive bookcase which you’re welcome to browse.

I had a nice time housesitting for Lisa and gorgeous Lulu. Lisa's house was comfortable and there was good off street parking. Lulu loves a cuddle and massage and it was so nice to have her around. Wish it could have been a bit longer.

Hb and Lulu are the best! Very loving and affectionate, but also independent. We really enjoy sunbathing on the couch when the weather permits. ✨ Lisa's house has everything you need to enjoy your stay, in a very quiet and safe neighborhood! I feel grateful to have spent time in Lisa's St Kilda oasis. Stunning flat with a gorgeous garden and so much character. It's a book lover's dream! Lulu and H.B. are beautiful cats, cheeky (in the best way) but completely lovable. We had lots of cuddles. I was sad to say goodbye. Lisa was an excellent communicator and stayed in touch during my stay. Highly recommend!

Another great repeat housesit for Lisa. Her lovable two indoor cats are entertaining, fluctuating between being lap sloths and zoomie blurs. The home is comfortable and has good wifi, with multiple trams nearby and Carlisle Street shops not far away. Looking forward to next visit.

Lisa has a charming art deco home and I had a comfortable housesit. Her two lovely cats are a bundle of energy, who also like some laptime (on their terms). Easy to care for, clear verbal instructions given, and Lisa was easily contactable through the sit to receive status updates or to answer a couple of extra queries. Would sit again!

I had a great time sitting for Lisa at her beautiful art deco apartment. She provided everything I could need (including some homemade soup) to ensure I was comfortable. HB and Lulu are such fun characters and kept me entertained. Looking forward to doing another sit soon!
The sweetest 2 cats, a beautiful, clean space and great location. Lisa was reliable and communicative throughout. I absolutely loved looking after HB and Lulu, I was even sad to leave them at the end! If you get the chance to sit - jump at it.
